Hey Jemi! My favourite outfits in order: 1. Sakura - gorgeous! I love a beret and the whole look really suits you. 2. Lain - pink coat, bear hat - what's not to like! This is the outfit I would be most likely to wear myself as it's so cute. 3. Nana. Obviously you need to feel confident when you are wearing it, but I thought it looked fab.

That sounds like a very interesting hat concept!😆 I hope to one day find a fitting subtle cat ears hat - I love the Totoro catbus hats Ghibli sells, but they're either too big or too small for my head 🥲

I like your stuling choices, ven if you feel iffy in some, it looks good. I lived and breathed Cardcapyor Sakura during my childhood, it made me love fashion I both wanted to be Sakura and Tomoyo, everything is chef's kiss to me and I watched it more times than what should be healthy. The 90's Sailor Moon is superior, I have an issue with the animation of the "modern" adaptation... It's more anime in general... like the lack of color saturation and weird proportions. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time made me cry too... God I want to watch almost all the anime in the video.

Thank you, that brings me comfort, as I'm not naturally confident in every outfit I come up with 🥰 I think I only saw snippets of cardcaptor sakura as a kid, but it wasn't widely available where I lived to rent or see on TV. I love all the outfits, lowkey wish I knew how to sew so I could recreate some of them! Yesss, the 90s anime pastel coloring is iconic and I feel like modern anime often has such bland colors (though I like what they did with Toilet-bound Hanako-kun). I feel like I'm due for some anime rewatches, thinking of watching the Ranma anime and hoping I won't get the same ick I got as a kid 😅

i want to get the pieces for Ami's outfit now oh my god that was so adorable!!! Akane's outfit was really cute (also the E makes a long A sound in Japanese, or like how "hey/hay" sound the same. Akan-ey) I want that mint green dress so bad Haruka's whole Look is just, such an awesome vibe in either the 90s or Crystal Remake that outfit was 👌

Omg I'm glad someone likes Ami's outfit, I was so insecure about it! 😭💕 It's so interesting how I have a tendency to say all of these Japanese names in the more Japanese/Finnish way (because the letters are pronounced the same way idk what the proper term for it), but everything is said very differently in English 🫢 And yes, Haruka was iconic through both the 90s and Crystal remake versions! I love the voice actors for both versions too 🥰

​@@jemi_ whenever i attempt to learn a new language i always figure out how things are pronounced first, so the E's sounding like A's was the first thing I learned with Japanese lol Also English and the American People are just That Way when it comes to pronunciation of stuff. Even if people hear it said the right way hundreds of times they'll still default to the "Merica" Way
