@@Harleyxjokerforever Yeah but Powerpuff girls isn’t fashion focused. I say this cause many on social media think PPG was this fashion forward thing when the leak outifts were shown. I admire artists for designing the girls but they need to understand that fashion and looking like Instagram models isn’t PPG. I don’t want the show designers to overdo it with fashion cause that’s not why people watch PPG. If you’re a stylus for a franchise you need to sit and do research on what inspired the franchise’s Aesthetic and use that as tool for restyling. I wouldn’t immediately go towards trends when styling characters from various franchises because when you do that every franchise will look the same on an Aesthetic level. I don’t want blossom looking like whatever her name is from winx club or bubbles looking like cloe from Bratz. Variety guys,not every female led show needs to resemble modern day Instagram baddie trends. I fear the show runners seeing the criticism and resorting to trends because that’s what people who won’t even watch the show want. Let me clarify I LOVE this video’s interpretation of the fashion tho. I think it’s pretty good. But yeah above that’s just my take on restyle culture in general.

If they really want to hire someone who's older who can evolve with the times (or make an effort at all to connect to the brief) then they could've gone with someone like Heidi Bivens (Euphoria) or even Shirley Kurata (Genera+ion). The person they hired (who is doing at least one episode) Leesa Evans hasn't blown me away with her costume selection since the live action Scooby Doo movies from the early 2000's. I get that she's making them literal like she did with those movies but it doesn't feel the same. Maybe it will get better and we'll evolve to get something iconic like Velma's catsuit but I really doubt it.

I think the issue with netflix is that they dress gen z teens like millennials and it just looks awkward and disjointed because they end up dressed like they're 40 but speaking really young in a way no teenager/young person speaks it's so cringe. the 70s style blossom look though was impeccable amazing

My take on their future careers : blossom would be getting a law degree and want to be a politician or human right lawyer, bubbles would be a daycare or kindergarten teacher, buttercup works night shift at a gas station because she doesn’t care about career or status she just wants to feed herself and avoid people (shes secretly the smartest and does programming and coding just for fun)

Okay powerpuffs was my favorite cartoon back in the days and I was sooooo disappointed by the released pictures. But yours !!! It looks so cool ! I would love to see a serie with these girls. Especially the firsts, I love their monochromatic outfits and I think it doesn't means they can't be badass. You can wear pink head to toes and be a super hero. That what Blossom (her name is Belle in French with means beauty actually) taught me !

I would imagine Bubbles majoring in something Art related, since she would always draw/colour something in the original show and I think her sensitive soul would fit an artist. For Buttercup I would imagine her majoring in a sport, or just being a professional sports player since she was the active one and I don't remember her caring much for school. Blossom was the smart one and you can imagine different domains she would major in, but I'm going with either STEM to fit the stereotype, or maybe a Business major/something implying leadership skills.
