I’d like to see dressing my dolls in colors. I do it myself often, but I only have five dolls. Even so, it takes a long time to get them all dressed!

For the color-themed dressing my dolls video, would you rather it be one monochromatic outfit per doll but all the different colors are in one video, or a series of videos where one video is all purple, one is all blue, etc?

@@agtakesover I’d like to see all the dolls wearing one color. Doesn’t have to be solid color. Like various outfits in red, even if only prints, etc. But could be wearing parts of outfit with another color. Like a red sweater with black pants or leggings, and so forth.

The soccer shin guards go under the socks, FYI. I’m not huge into sports, but I did play a little bit as a kid. 😊

Wow the difference in quality over the years is really noticeable! Since you have a large collection with many different skin tones, I wonder if you would consider doing a video of how one color looks on different dolls? I think not everything looks good on everyone but since I only have a few dolls myself it is difficult to imagine. I would also love to see some of your dolls dressed for getting stuff done--painting, gardening, chopping wood, DIY home repair, etc. :). Great video as usual! Thank you so much

@@agtakesover For some reason red is in my mind! Bright true red. But any color would be interesting I think. I'm kind of fascinated by the recent Tiana work dress and jacket ensemble in yellow and pale green, and Claudie's coat which is also pale green. I would never think to use those colors for Claudie or Tiana, but they look amazing in all the pictures I've seen! I'm sure whatever strikes your fancy would be interesting. 😄

I just spent so much money collecting the whole green and grey ski outfit! I had to buy 3 separate sets to get the whole thing. I love it though, and so does my fiancé! He actually paid for 2 of the sets,after I bought the outfit, so we could get the boots, ski’s, poles and glasses!😂 He’s a skiier since 4 years old, and I bought number 75 because it looks like him as a kid. He’s AG addicted now too!🤣

Nice!! I took photos of my new-to-me CYO Bree the last time it snowed here. She was in the downhill ski outfit and since I still only have one of the poles, I just had to get creative with the angles lol.

I have no idea how I missed this live. In regards to the size of the towel, when you see the swimmers and divers get out of the pool at the Olympics the towel they use is actually really small. I love that green and grey ski suit set. Another great dressing your dolls video.

You missed it because I posted it as an "instant premiere" so there was no heads-up. It was a last minute decision because I have *got* to shrink this backlog of videos. I think I'm going to do one Friday *and* Saturday this weekend. Maybe 3/week until I get down to a reasonable sized backlog lol. And thanks for explaining about the towel.

Your videos are always so interesting to watch. The difference in quality is something that really sticks out to me as someone who had 90's AG dolls as a kid, and who is now looking at new AG dolls today. It wasn't just clothes, it was accessories, furniture, and the dolls themselves -- although, sometimes a newer item or collection will stand out. Courtney's collection has some really detail-oriented, and pretty functional things in it for example, that remind me more of how AG things used to be made. I remember Samantha's locket actually pinned on and could really hold pictures and, if I recall (though I might be misremembering) her whistle was actually functional. There are so many themed videos that I'd love to see, if you feel like making any of them. The first is a video of outfits more or less as they were sold that have great mix and match potential. Aside from a small number of dolls where I'd ideally like to get most or all of their collections, I'm being super picky about what outfits I buy due to space, money, and personality. I'd love to be able to see some of the outfits with high potential for swapping all together in one video. I'm mostly thinking things like outfits with neutral or solid color shirts, jeans or black pants, and lots of separate pieces. But things with more color could also work well. I'd also especially love to see a video of "masculine" and/or gender neutral clothes -- AG has given us so few clothes like that, and I'm a fairly butch/masc trans man who grew up with AG dolls, so I love seeing ideas for outfits that are more representative of the type of clothes I wear now. I'm thinking things like the cargo outfit, for something that would fit into both categories, or maybe something like Julie's original meet outfit for the first of those themes, if you wanted to include more color. I'd also really like to see an overalls video, as well as different color themes -- my personal favorite colors are purple, black, and blue, but I'd be happy to watch videos for any color themes.

You know, a thing our local group should do is get together for a sports-themed photo shoot. I was just thinking this morning about how many outfits we have in common (the baseball outfit, the basketball outfit, the roller blading outfit) and how many we might have a different-but-related one for (I have a different volleyball outfit than you, for example), and it would be cool to have team photos or competition photos. And that way no one would need to necessarily have multiples of the same outfit to accomplish a good team group shot.

Understandable. If AG gave more neutral and "masculine" options maybe your boys could share ;) But many collectors have very limited options for their masculine boy dolls.

Dolls dressed up in sports gear is actually adorable! I am not a sporty girl either. I am all about frills and historical fashions. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed seeing the dolls dressed like this. My favourites were the tennis and skating outfit. Also Ivy does look super cute as a gymnast. ❤

I enjoyed seeing all the sports outfits! The only one I have is the downhill ski outfit. I got it for my son’s doll Kyle like 13 years ago! We got some great photos of him in it playing in the snow. ❄️

Indeed! I've gotten two more that I unboxed but haven't posted yet. I don't LOVE sports but if the outfit is priced right, I'll buy it and keep it for at least a couple years.

I love the sports outfits and I have almost all of the same outfits. I really want the down hill ski outfit even though I have a lot of the AG ski outfits there is just something about the green and grey. I especially love the felt hat. I love the purple and yellow soccer outfit and our shirt has a million snags . Thanks again for another h=fun video

I don't like sports for the most part but you made those outfits look so cute! Loved the video! I do have fond memories of watching Women's roller derby with my dad in the early 60"s. Joanie Weston was the queen of Roller derby!

I don’t have too much sports gear for my dolls because it’s always last on my really long list. 😅 But I have some. I love Kit’s baseball glove. Unfortunately age got to it, so it’s peeling. 😢

The sports things we've gotten have never been high on my list. They either came in a lot or were really cheap. The one I went out of my way to look for was the Downhill Ski outfit.

Thankyou for sharing another Great video.I wish AG would make everything like the old day's 😢. Especially since the prices are so High😮.i mean at least when you get Good quality stuff then i don't feel as bad about spending the cash.I'd like a pj themed video I love pj themed video's, guess bcuz i love wearing pj's alot idk 🤣. I love seeing all the pleasanr company clothes ,WOW WEE‼️😵 can't believe the differance in quality from long ago to today 😱.i know you made pj video's before just asking for another one😂.I absolutely love the ski outfit,wonder if Corinne's GOTY Ski outfit is made really Good or just another disappointment 😢😢😢. I think Corinne's ski outfit is nice quality. It's just not relatable to me as an adult. If I want to pretend my dolls are a bit older, the amount of pink AG puts in everything starts to feel excessive real fast. As for a pjs video, I'm sure I'll do one again in the future, but it'll be lower priority since I have SO MANY video ideas ahead of it. I definitely have NO lack of video ideas ;)

Love this video it was great. The towel for the swim team is correct it would’ve been small. I’ve taken many kids to swim lessons and the towel is always the size of what I would call a hand towel. It’s just to wipe their bodies off after they’re done swimming it’s not to wrap up in.

So in that case it's a matter of a competition towel vs. a leisure towel. Good to know - thank you. I *do* know they've made the towels smaller over the years because the very first swimsuit had a MUCH larger towel than the most recent one they've made, so I just assumed this was more of the same.

Wow! Nellie really rocks AGOT outfits!! I got a 2nd one in a lot last year, and I've decided to keep her as one of the modern dolls. She came wearing the (I think it's called) Tunic Outfit (a tealish blue top with jeans and fancy shoes), I then put her in the World Traveler Irish Outfit. But then put her in the original 90s Red Vinyl Jumper Outfit, and Oh Wow!!! She really rocks that outfit!!! (Spoiler alert: if anyone gets Nick's remake, you got to try to at least get the hat from the 90s...the outfit is Not complete without it!!!) I was waiting to see who you put in the inline gear, and never would have guessed it was Nellie...I thought she was a Truly Me. 😮 She also totally rocks the inline outfit too.

I admit Nellie is an underappreciated doll in my collection and I can't even say why. I just overlook her sometimes and she deserves more time in the spotlight. Maybe a "Nellie Appreciation Video" is in my future.

Aw, do you remember which skiing set? Those outfits take up a lot of space compared to others, so I can see why some ppl pass on them. But the green and grey one is sooooo perfect!

@@agtakesover it was the "ski gear" sold from 2010 to 2014! I didn't have the matching snowsuit though, so I bought the snowboard outfit (08-09) later thinking I still had the skis. 🤦‍♀️

Everything looks amazing! I think the only one of these outfits I ever owned was the Skating Star Outfit and I would put it on Mia. But it was sold long ago, as was Mia. I love the looks of the tennis outfit and green and grey skiing outfit. The quality was amazing. Do you have any more sports outfits, or did you just happen to have 15? Thanks for sharing!

Isabel’s tennis dress is cute, and fits her style for sure, but that thin hollow plastic tennis ball it comes with is embarrassing! Eventually I want to get this AGOT one for her. I would love to see a color themed dressing my dolls video in the future.

I like the more gender neutral colours of PC clothes too! Something that frustrates me about AG clothing is the colour pink making a regular appearance. It's probably why I like Claudie and Kirsten's collection so much 🙂

Am I still bitter Claudie has never gotten a catalog cover? You bet? And do I want her to have more outfits? Yes. But seriously, they *are* doing a better job giving us neutral colors with her! yellow pjs, her meet outfit, winter coat, polka dot dress...even Tiana's work outfit (which we got for Claudie lol) are all such a breath of fresh air!!
