DIY T-Shirt Dress with Slits + Sewing Pattern

Hi everyone! After a long while of planning to make this piece, I’m so happy to show you how to create this beautiful layering T-Shirt Dress that adds that perfect little bit of elegant complexity to your look :)

Here are the materials you’ll need:
1.8-2.2 m (2-2 1/2 yds) light to medium-weight stretch knit fabric
Stay tape or clear elastic for stabilization
Loop turner
Matching thread
Glasshead pins
Scissors
Measurement tape
Willow pattern
For this t-shirt dress pattern, I recommend using a knit light to medium-weight fabric that has stretch to it. This would be something like a Jersey, Brushed Poly, French Terry, or a Ribbed Knit. I used a Crepe Knit fabric that is soft and stretchy, it has a gorgeous heavy drape that hangs down into our pretty little skirt-like design. And if you want a tighter, more fitted look - you can size down with your pattern.
