When my dad was 16yr old he was stabbed outside a bus stop 11 times & left for dead. He told me he knew he's time was coming & was ready, he kept saying he thought he would feel real sad & angry etc, esp for the fact he was all alone. But he said he felt peaceful & calm, said it was a weird feeling he just wanted to sleep. The only reason he survived was a nurse had got of the late late bus at that bus stop, he had no pulse was not breathing, she performed cpr and shouted for help witch eventually came. My dad was so lucky and survived. Just mad the way he descried that feeling just like Dresta & others have. Big shout to nurse Joyce who literally gave me life

That is crazy what doctors and surgeons can do. Taking arteries from his leg to support his heart. I have a friend who broke his neck during an accident and he was explaining the surgery to me. The vertebrae at the top of his spinal column was crushed, so they removed - I believe - his hip bone, crushed it down to a fine powder, and cast it to replace his shattered vertebrae. They then replaced his hip bone. My exact detail may be off, but that's what I believe he told me. It's crazy what they can do. Incredible work.

Everyone that is saying he should leave his neighborhood doesn't understood calling a place home. This man has lived through close to 4 generations in his hood. I Only lived through 3 in mine and it was hard leaving. I am from the Westside of Chicago and have spent all of my life save two and a half years in my neighborhood. I have been there from the 80s to the late 2010s and it's hard leaving what you know as home. The memories, your life, etc. It's not as easy as people think to leave what you call home. I moved to Texas a few months ago and miss my city so badly. I'll also add a a black man in this country nowhere is safer than the next for you, you can get got basically anywhere and your kids can too. The biggest myth is that of the "safe neighborhood". And though that's something I know it was confirmed when my gun instructor said the same thing and he was a white man from The burbs.
@junjungatbos35486 жыл бұрын
This country is not our real home bro. Roots and culture go way deeper than this fucked up society and cities n shit. Its about going back to your native land to the people who are still in touch with the earth.. We have all been assimilated into this fake country and society. With no knowledge of our real roots and culture. Thats why everyone is ego trippin. Theres no "foundation" of their own cultural heritage. Our minds are poisoned by t.v. and media, making us think we can all "be somebody". Its mind programming bro. When i went back to my native land recently, i realized there are people with no money but can still survive off the land, are happy with just being as family and THEY AINT EVEN TRIPPIN!!!!!!......peace🙏🏻
@James_Edward592 жыл бұрын
There definitely isn’t no such thing as a “safe neighborhood” but there is such thing as “safer” neighborhoods. I’m from California, diversity has always been huge since I was a child, i lived in a good neighborhood growing up and we had every race you could possibly imagine but my neighborhood wasn’t far from ghetto neighborhoods and that whole “there’s no safe place for a black man” is ridiculous. It’s who you surround yourself with, how you carry yourself and what you do with your time that matters. I’ve seen every race be targeted for being in the wrong neighborhood or hanging out with the wrong people and I’ve seen every race succeed much farther than myself including African Americans. Our class president was black and went to Stanford. We did just have a black president and now have a black Vice President and have black mayors and attorney generals and politicians and doctors and surgeons and lawyers and successful business owners. Look at the entire hip hop and pro athlete community, you can’t keep blaming the world for you or anyone else not being where you want to be. I struggle all the time with not being where I want to be but the difference is I know it’s my fault and it means I need to work harder and smarter.
@James_Edward592 жыл бұрын
@@junjungatbos3548 Exactly, that’s why I can’t stand people here of any race that act like they are owed something or they don’t have something because of someone else. We are beyond spoiled here and have so much opportunity in this country more than anywhere else in the entire world so that means if you can’t make it here it’s only because of yourself. When I visit Mexico, people are much happier there with 1/10 of what we have here in the states.

So basically he got shot up in his own hood by mistaken identity. They are right. Once you leave the hood for a while other kids grow up and they don't know you. Hence they have no respect for you or your OG status. This is why it's important for OG's to understand that when you get out the hood, STAY OUT. You have NOTHING to prove by going back. My question also is what is a OG doing out at 4:00 AM in morning anyway? Those are the times many people are just waking up hoping in the shower getting ready to go to work.

The Nortenos & Surenos have major structure man. Let one of these youngsters knock off or try to knock off one of their OG's and see what happens. I'm sure he told them fools he was from out there and they still did it. We as Black people have issues with structure with our community. Anybody from any generation should be able to stop in their old hood without this happening. This is why I advocate that Black people stop feeling they need to have any loyalty to the hood because most of them negros who live there you can't save them anyway and have absolutely no loyalty to nobody. I can tell his feelings was hurt behind that one for sure. Because in the 80's & 90's LA was a literal war zone in some areas and they fought tooth and nail representing that hood against their enemies only to come back and get shot by a new generation of negros who claim the same hood. What those youngsters fail to realize is that the only reason their hood has the reputation it has is because of the OG's who did it before them. That mess is straight up disrespect.

I haven't been shot but I could tell you it's definitely peaceful though.. I keep telling my grandma I'm feeling sleepy and when I passed out everything was just black and I just keep hearing this voice in my head keep saying don't fall asleep and the more I go into the Sleep the voices got louder until it sounds like someone screamed in my ear and I jumped up and that's when I realized I made it to the hospital..

Man these guys here are the last of a rare breed, i admire these men so much just by what Dresta was saying about when he got shot, it shows how loyal they were back in the day to one another and growing up with street codes passed down to them by the OGs and now he basically saying that there's no respect no more and is hurt by how he's own people turned out and dont aknowledge the work they put in to pave the way for these youngins and that's the thanks he gets in he's own hood. I'll Always love and respect these men! Stand up guys through and through 🙏 Real Muthafukkin' Gz!

@MrFasho1236 жыл бұрын
Did he say that or just assumption? But sure it's not impossible that they thought he was a enemy rolling around in their hood 4 in the morning, but could also be a enemy taking a chance.
@jordanbryant50356 жыл бұрын
It was probably an enemy of nutty block
@BrownPatriot3166 жыл бұрын
Jordan Bryant First Dresta said he tried to have a conversation wit the dude and tell him who he was. And second, BG was saying how they don’t know the little homies like that, and since Dresta wasn’t in the streets for a while niggas really didn’t know him in the hood. So that’s basically saying the little homies from Nutty Blocc shot em. Most likely they didn’t believe he was from the same hood as them and thought he was an enemy.
