I am glad that this has been brought up. You know these folks from the streets who went thru tramatic incidents witnessing shootings , deaths, etc. You know that affects them and its like returning vets who have seen, done and had things done to tgem.. they return with a different mind set. Anxiety, and sleep issues, dreams that reoccur, so much that they are given medication. Well the streets don't prescribe meds. You just deal with it the best you can.. its PTSD THATS ENTERED THE PICTURE THAT NO ONE IS HELPING THESE GANG MEMBERS OR JUST FOLKS LIVING THEIR STREET LIVES.. NO ONE TALKS ABOUT IT IN FEAR THAT AS A TOUGH GUY MIGHT BE LOOKED AS AS WEAK. THIS I BELIEVE IS AN ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED..

Literally all we heard in L.A back then was "Say no to gangs and drugs" but nothing to say YES to or to attach our energy to which gave way to misguided uneducated decisions. I with that Dresta.
