It's so crazy to be saints fan and to see all the different QBs over the years we have seen. Steve Walsh, Wade Wilson, billy Joe hobert, billy Joe tolliver, Danny weurfell, even had Jake Delhomme in there in 1999. Then there was Aaron Brooks. We go from that to drew Brees, what a welcome change.

I've got nothing against Brees. He is an amazing QB. But to play most of your games indoors, and then another boatload in places like Tampa and Charlotte and San Diego - as opposed to Buffalo, East Rutherford, Denver and Pittsburgh - it makes a difference. And whether you blame Brees or the rest of the team, his record against good teams and defenses - especially outdoors - is not great: 2-8 v. Denver; 4-6 v. K.C.; 3-3 v. the Jets; 2-3 v. the Steelers. The only other thing that may be a weakness is interceptions. Brees has a 10 point differential in passer rating between home and away games. Brady's is only 2 points. In fact, Brady averages more yards per attempt and per game on the road than he does at home. Brees completion % drops 7 points in away games. Brady's stays the same. Brady has a career 93 rating v. the Denver D. Brees is 76. Brees playing outdoors - his rating drops 12 points. His interception rate doubles. When Brady gets to play in a dome his rating goes up 15 points. Brady played the first 5 years of his career on grass also. In 2002 Brees lost 7 of his last 9 games and his team went from 6-1 to out of the playoffs while he was throwing as many interceptions as TDs. The next season he was even worse (11 TDs, 15 INTs) and got benched for Doug Flutie. In 2004, in his first playoff game, Brees managed 1 TD in the first 59 minutes against the Jets while at home as 7 point favorites. In 2005 the Chargers were 8-4 and in 1st place until Brees lost 3 of the last 4 games of the season and they fell out of the playoffs, throwing more picks than TDs in that stretch. Once the Chargers traded Brees they went 14-2. So to sum up - you're wrong.

Brees hasnt had a defense most of his career and 80% of his seasons the defense has been the bottom half of the league. Not to mention he hasnt had a go-to target outside of Jimmy Graham who we know got worse when he left the saints. He hasn't had a pro-bowl reciever until last year. And his team is constantly atop the Offensive Rankings every year scoring 30 a game while his defense constantly gives up 35. Brady couldn't be in a better organization and he has a top 3 best coaches of all time coaching him and the players. The fact that they even weny 7-9 those 3 seasons in a row breaking a miserable record of most yards given up on NFL history is unbelievable
