I enjoy these authentic laid back videos. Keep them coming! I’m looking forward to the baby nursery design. Btw, I am a mother of 5, grandma of 4; don’t put too much pressure on yourselves or the baby about a sleep pattern. If you develop a good schedule for yourselves, such as earlier bedtimes, the baby will fall into that too. Wishing you guys the best! 🌿

I had a septoplasty back in 2000. It was the best decision. I couldn’t ever breathe through my nose at night before the surgery!

Drew my septum had grown together due to my allergies , they didn’t put me to sleep with the nose surgery. I could hear all the bones breaking in my nose then they sucked them out. It helped for years then I had to go on a sleep apnea machine which really helps. Good luck with everything. You might get a little nausea from the bleeding . Take care both of you!

Drew is correct dolphins are part of the whale family great to see all the family relaxing together, blessings for new baby , just relax, mother nature takes care of everything as long as u have a healthy diet, exercise, and u already have a loving, supportive, hubby, don't read too much on how to make your baby go to sleep when baby is small they thrive on sleep as long as they are fed and changed and held a lot, it makes them feel loved and secure, especially when the parents talk or sing to baby, ye will get to know the different sounds, of different cries, there is on for hunger, one for wet diaper, one for pain, there is even a person who can teach u all that, but trust me, we have all felt anxious and worried, with our 1st baby, instinct will bring u a long way, and now with baby cameras, listening etc etc, u can here them, where ever u happen to be in your home, I stayed up almost 3 night s watching and listening to out 1st baby, I was so nervous beign responsible for this tiny, living, miracle, u two have had plenty of practise, your gonna be just brilliant,

For breastfeeding, La Leche League International and the International Breastfeeding Centre have great resources! If you're having any trouble nursing have an expert check for tongue/lip/cheek ties. It can be a total game changer having these fixed and they often go undiagnosed by delivering professionals because they're not all trained in assessing them. If your baby is gaining weight and latching but the latch is consistently painful beyond the first month or two as your body adapts advocate for yourself. A good rule of thumb with their latch is that if it still hurts beyond the first 10 seconds there is something wrong with the latch. Good luck, mama!

You definitely want to get that nursery going after seeing Colleen have her babies early. You never know when the baby will decide they want out. Although twins are more likely to come much earlier than usual, I do know a could of people who had their babies a few weeks early too and they were single births. As for things you will "need", there are TONS of things out there for baby but not all are necessary. Try watching a few videos of must-have items that people talk about that they actually loved and needed after having their baby. Raw beauty Kristi did a video of newborn must-haves and things she regrets buying. She is a very down to earth honest person and relatable. That video among others might help. Just be wary of anyone videos that are sponsored because they are being paid to talk up the products (as you know) and may not be as great as they say. I'm sure Colleen has suggested some things as well since she has a toddler and two new babies. She may have discovered newer things that weren't around when she had Flynn. I had my son forever ago, but one thing that you will want is nursing pads. You WILL leak and those are very helpful. I always get a pack of those for any baby shower I attend along with something else on their list.

Wow thank you so much for the suggestions! We will definitely check out Kristi's video!

I've always found them to be the perfect couple. Most people know what I mean but for some who love drama & reading into things that aren't there. Let me say what I mean by that. They make the perfect couple because, they seem to be the right fit for eachother, have a real chemistry together, & you can both see & feel what they have for eachother, just by watching them together. It's always nice to see couples like them, & how happy & serious they are about eachother, & what they have for eachother within too. Congrats on everything life has brought, & to whatever else good that it gonna bring to you, & all close to you too. Take care, & all the best of health & life to yous. A huge fan of yours & your work always. :)

The best Breastfeeding book ever written is by the Le Leche League called "The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding." My Mother recommended it to me 31 years ago...I successfully breastfed my two kiddos, and have purchased and given this book to many an expectant mother, and also to my daughter who was successful at breastfeeding as well. It answers every question or problem you could ever come up with! It was written by breastfeeding women probably 60 years ago and gets updated every few years. There may even still be le leche leagues still meeting in many areas of the country! A wealth of information! Blessings to you both!

I had my spectum repaired years ago. Never again.....but it helped my sinus infections and more but not my allergies. Glad it went well. My hub was a severe snorer. I kept telling him he would stop breathing while sleeping, After he got his CPAP machine, I couldn't sleep. I had slept with this man for 20 years & was so used to his snoring. I had to train myself to listen to the hum of the machine to sleep. I definately reccomend LaLeche League books & videos. Find your neighborhood LLL group and ask questions. I did this with my 2nd child and I had learned it all by the time my little girl came along. Life is a learning adventure. Don't do too much studying. You will learn as the baby grows. But do not tip toe around the baby. Get them used to all the noises around. My kids sleep thru everything. Good luck

Hi Drew & Linda! Glad Drew is recovering well. Just wanted to share a few things w/ you both. 1.) Make sure to sleep/nap when baby does. 2.) Make sure to have a notebook and pen w/ you when baby (later on) starts solids. That way as you introduce new foods if there is an allergic reaction it's easy to narrow down and relay to the doctor. 3.) Lastly, make sure to get on recall lists to be up to date as possible for car seats, cribs, strollers, and other baby products. Sending SO much love n hugs your way and (when the time comes) a wonderful delivery/recovery. XO

I only have one advice about prepping for baby and it's for Linda. Please don't put too much pressure on yourself when it comes to breastfeeding. It is more than a full time job and if you, like i did, notice it affecting your mental health you can always give formula. There are ways to give formula that doesn't cause nipple confusion for baby. I was repeatedly told breast is best but in my honest opinion, fed is best, loved is best. Going from being pregnant to having a newborn is a huge adjustment so don't be scared to ask for help ♥️ you are going to be amazing parents, i just know it ♥️
