It's a great-looking car, very subtle, the wheels look great I love the fact that they're dished out the way they are, and the use of the Miata tail lights sideways is brilliant. Love the color too.

I loved being able to see this car evolve piece by piece on various visits to Dowsetts cars, seeing Darren Collins “classiccarguru1” sculpt the chassis, working in a little MX-5 magic here and there, to his mind bending work crafting the the passenger tub to factor in the needs of the battery configuration, something that I still remember being in complete awe of! To the work in adapting and shaping the body, taking queues from their Barchetta. The underpinnings and flow of the vehicle is an absolute credit to its creator.

There is nothing excellent about a 300 mile range. My gas guzzling truck goes 400 miles on a tank of 25 gallons. I fill up in 5 min for $60 and drive another 400 miles before this thing charges back up😂

The emblem on the front of the car is the Scottish thistle, the Lanark name comes from the royal burgh town of Lanark, which is the ceremonial town of the county of Lanarkshire (where I live)

In all the cars I’ve seen Jay drive in his videos over the years, I don’t think I’ve never seen him get more attention from bystanders than he did driving Drew’s car. Drew, really awesome design and great job finding the right folks to help your creation come to life 👍🏻

The color and style make it stand out. Most of the cars Jay goes out in are standard black, white, red ,blue.. Ford had a sage green for their 56 Thunderbirds. It was a little deeper than this but on the same line as this . Very bright .

Jay isn't political but reading between the lines, I noticed his frustration with the controversial solar initiatives in his state as being detrimental to keeping EVs and otherwise residential and commercial concerns going. But that's off topic and he stays with sharing his car interest because he's a class act. Thanks Jay!

There is a company that makes a crate Electric motor that resembles a V8 in shape and size. Seems like it is super pricey, but I have seen one used in a Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser.

You can get electric crate motors already from Ford, EV West, Electric GT, Stealth EV, etc and companies like BYOB and Zero Labs already sell the EV chassis kits to mount your existing car body onto. Best!

The thing I tend to dislike with most EV's are the overblown touch screen infotainment screens in or in front of the dash. What I saw here, I liked! Oh, and a very nicely designed car as well. 🙂

I think it's an interesting blend of features, inspired by old European sportscars, not an ice vehicle but no power steering either. The no hinge up front feels kind of a silly omission above all else, but probably not necessary to visit that compartment too often. It's beautiful to look at though. Ill give it that. So much better than any other one of a kind "homemade" cars I've seen.

I like this car. It looks like a vintage English car with a modern drivetrain and frame and suspension. This car reminds me of my 1970 Triumph Spitfire. I have thought of converting my car to electric, but that would be a shame. The loud, vibrating gas smell is part of the driving experience.

A very pretty car that must be so smooth to drive. Let me (an Englishman) clarify the badges. The one in the side is the Union Jack, the British equivalent to the stars & stripes. The Scots have their own flag, the Soltaire which could substitute the Union Jack if the owner's father wants to be picky. BTW Brexit was about us leaving the EU, NOT Europe, please don't confuse the two, they are different entities. The UK is now like Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and others, a European country but not a member of the EU

As someone who works in the solar industry for one of the biggest and fastest growing companies, the true full circle effect happens when you can charge your electric car off of the solar panels on your roof. Now this is also coming from a guy who still drives a VH Chevy, but this is where Solar and electric cars really start to make sense!! Love it

Utter tripe. You dont work in no solar power industry. I have 5 massive panels on my boat they are bang up to date and are barely able to charge two 12v batteries as fast as my stereo can use them. Solar is barely able to run auxiliaries on a small motor home and how do you sell a solar powered car in thr UK where the sun isnt around and you are driving under trees etc? Cars will never be self solar powered, solar is for low draw appliances and aplications and always will be.

Beautiful car, nice execution. The one change I would make is that there is no front under tray. At 21:00 to 21:30 you can see from the grill through to the front wheel cutout. Hmmm…maybe that’s done to allow air to exit from the large front grill? Nice looking car any how
