First time I heard this song, I bawled outloud, by myself. It is hard to feel tough when you see your thirty-two year old, special needs, daughter fight Stage 4, metastatic breast cancer. I encountered this song when I was listening to radio and yes it gives me courage for the tough times my family is facing. Hubby lost job, bills are piling up and also debt. I was sick when I gave birth to my daughter and we are deemed not eligible for any help from government back in 2023-2024...I was only part time and hubby is fulltime...But God never ignores our call, even if it is tough, although I take medicines, at least my family is healthy, 2 kids that are our treasures and that God gave me a job as a nurse that can sustain our family to push through..It is going to be a tough year knowing I will be the breadwinner, but tough times makes tough people. Thank you for this song Sir! It meant a lot for us.

My granddaughter was diagnosed with cancer at 2 1/2 years old in 2011. She's now 16 and cancer free thanks be to God first and St. Judes. Great song. Remember, keep fighting and look up cause it ain't over til God says it is. Bless the children, they're Tough people.

Breaks my heart and I can't give up because if I give up then they might. And we are in a club no one wants to be in. But when your in it we root for each other more then anything. I have 19 yr old with nonverbal severe autism severe epilepsy. We've never been able to get him the help he needs because nobody knows what to do. They all say just put him in a facility. I'm still trying if there are any God fearing loving Christians out there that don't judge and have healing powers. (That's all I will accept for my son) please pray for him

I don't know if you will ever read this message but wanted to let you know I love your new song Tough People.This song hits home.😥💔 I was diagnosed with stomach cancer a year and half ago. This July I was told by my oncologist that the chemo/radiation wasn't working anymore and it has now spread to my liver, the prognosis isn't good, I have also been going through domestic violence from my husband, the DA just pressed charges against him. . Life hasn't been easy for me the last yr and half. The last couple months I have been extremely depressed and honestly suicidal, wanting to give up. Your new song Tough People has given me the strength to keep going in this difficult time of my life. I want to thank you so much for this song. ❤️

🙏🙏🙏 My ex beat me left him at the court house, married a great guy from my past now 47+ years. Buried both 1@32 another @45. Almost lost our son with cancer as well. I almost died 3 times during this time. Lost his precious mother, aunt and grandmother. God is right by your side on the days when you feel you cannot make another step, He will carry you. I met an 83 yr old man recently.He was in a group of older people his age,he stood out because he was smiling and joking,in a very good mood.Someone asked him why he was so happy why wasn't he like the rest talking about being old and complaining of their aches and pains.He said he had an awakening,he said he could live out the rest of his days like that or to appreciate every remaining time he had as a gift.He named things that happened to him 3 marriages and divorces,survived cancer,stroke and a heart attack.Had a 6 yr old daughter killed in a hit and run.He said his attitude now is one of you are not going to get the best of me.He compared himself to Superman with bullets bouncing off his chest.Tough times don't last tough people do and will personified.I shook his hand and bought him a beer.
