As someone who grew up billingual russian/german from birth i have to say: It's actually not hard at all to use all those grammar in everyday speech. It just becomes difficult when you have grammar tests in school and have to decline properly - you have to memorize all the rules for something that you used without knowing the rules. And both languages have far more rules than english.

The Hungarian language is truly weird, for example "ízlés" means taste in clothes and other things, while "ízlelés" means to taste food and other things. "Tenni" and "rakni" means the same (to put) but they work differently and still everyone uses them as they want. Some say "Feltenni a tűzhelyre" and others say "Felrakni a tűzhelyre" and both means To put something on the stove.
