Fun fact: there is an existing word that rhymes with orange! A sporange, also called a sporangium, is a piece of a seedless plant where spores are formed and stored.
@keikekaze Жыл бұрын
And some famous rhymester--I think it was Stephen Sondheim--said that "door hinge" (or "door-hinge"?) rhymes perfectly with "orange" if you put a strong emphasis on the first syllable and then just sort of glide over the "h" and don't take too much time over the short "i". Now all you need is a situation where "orange" and "door-hinge" would come up in the same lyric!

The thing about Chinese is that the writing of the language is what makes words different, like English. A word that sounds like Shi with accents on the vowel may sound the same, but given the context of the sentence, that’s how someone could understand Chinese. It’s like English having to, two, and too.

As someone who grew up billingual russian/german from birth i have to say: It's actually not hard at all to use all those grammar in everyday speech. It just becomes difficult when you have grammar tests in school and have to decline properly - you have to memorize all the rules for something that you used without knowing the rules. And both languages have far more rules than english.

I was a bit concered abaout england being on the cannibal map. So i did some research and feel slightly relieved - Colchester, Essex Punk rocker Dave Playpenz cooked and ate his own finger after it had to be amputated. He lost the digit after a motorbike accident. Surgeons had to remove the finger and part of Dave’s hand after it turned black. But rather than throw the finger away, the bondage furniture maker asked to take it home after his op. Dave, from Colchester, Essex, said: “It had been kept in the same fridge where the nurses stored the milk for their tea.” Dave, who admits being curious about cannibalism, said he then thought of eating his own finger and keeping the bones. He said: “I’d always wondered what human flesh tastes like. But it’s taboo. “People can’t go around being cannibals - that’s illegal. "Only then, it occurred to me that no one could haul me to court for eating my own flesh. “I decided to cook it and taste it. Then my curiosity would be satisfied Dave needs to be monitored!

The Hungarian language is truly weird, for example "ízlés" means taste in clothes and other things, while "ízlelés" means to taste food and other things. "Tenni" and "rakni" means the same (to put) but they work differently and still everyone uses them as they want. Some say "Feltenni a tűzhelyre" and others say "Felrakni a tűzhelyre" and both means To put something on the stove.
