In Turkish leon is aslan (arslan in old Turkic). The similarities between Magyar and Turkish, even though our languages are not from the same family, are surprising. There must definitely be some form of connection from the past.

To this day in Dutch law only the position of king of the Netherlands exists. So when we have a queen, in the eyes of the law she is king of the Netherlands. Eventhough the title that she uses would be queen. This is the reason why if we have a king, his wife is a queen, but when we have a queen her husband is just a prince. Because you can't have two kings 🤪😆. Also yeah your right it was Carpatho-Ukraine within Czechoslovakia. Modern day Zakarpatska/Transcarpathia oblast, Ukdaine.

@@myveryoriginalusername Å is not "o" whatsoever. It doesn't matter where you're from, it's the same letter. o is o. That's already a letter. Å is pronounced a LITTLE bit like how an Englishman would say an "o" sound, if that's why you said that. Before Å was invented, old spelling just used "aa", the only things leftover are town names such as Aalborg (not Ålborg) and Aarhus (not Århus), but you could technically spell it that way.

9:49 As an Indian, my reply is 1) Pakistan is the pain in the a**hole of world stability 2) China is the in a**hole of a free, democratic world order 3) Bangladesh's anti-India stand is due to growing influence of Saudi-funded Islamists in that country. Increased polarisation of the Bangladeshi society leading to greater persecution of Hindus & uncontrolled illegal immigration are befouling Bangladesh's image among Indians. 3) Nepal's anti-India stance was caused at the instigation of China. After instigating the Nepali PM to start bickering with India over petty, unwarranted issues, China has grabbed some Nepali territory. 4) Bhutan is an Indian protectorate & is legally prohibited to pursue a foreign policy opposed to that of India. Recently China grabbed some Bhutanese territory. If it hadn't been for the India, Bhutan has no chance to stand up against China. 5) India has never interfered in the internal matters of Myanmar. Both the military & the pro-democracy governments will continue to have Indian support as long as they assist us in subduing Chinese-backed separatism in NE India .

@Lisa Quinn It is important to notice the double dotts above the u (ü) in Bürgerkrieg or Bürgermeister. Bürger = citizen Burg = castle And we have Burg in a lot of our Citynames, because they got their names from castles (Burgen) which stand/stood there like : Hamburg (Hammaburg), Flensburg, Lüneburg, Oldenburg (old castle), Augsburg, ...

8:11 The Hungarian word for lion (possibly) means "girl, who grabs"; "orosz" maybe came from the "oroz" word, which means grabbing and the "-lán" maybe came from the "lány" word, which means girl. But this is not sure. (I'm just learning English, so if it has no sense, I'm sorry.)

EU is fantastic as an economic union, and I will admit it makes it easier to restrict large corporations from going too far out of bounds, but it fails beyond redemption when it comes to social and political reforms. It tries too hard to make a one-size-fits-all standard, despite the myriad of different countries involved. For all the stupidity involved in Brexit (seriously, some people thought they're leaving the europe continent) I can't say I fully blame the drive, despite UK not even being affected the most...but I will leave it at that. Not about to start a debate about it here, goodness knows I have plenty of that in person.
