Iceland was a hugely important naval strategic point. To move their big ships to the west coast of France, they had to go between Iceland and Greenland. With the British controlling Iceland, they knew when the Germans were trying to move their ships. If the Germans controlled Iceland, the battleship Bismarck would have probably made it to Western France and spent months doing commerce raiding instead of being sunk on its first mission.

Israel got intelligence of Syria, Iraq, Jordan and Egypt joining together to attack Israel so they used aerial warfare to dispatch Egypt's and Jordan's military planes, took control of the entire Sinai desert and took back all of Judea and Sumerian. back then israel didnt get any supplies from the usa and only got *sold* weapons from uk and france.

In 1967 we barely got any arms from the US our best allies were the French then, and before that it was the Czechoslovaks. The US became our r e a l ally only in 73, 6 years after this war. And plus in the six days war the Jordanians were supplied by the brits and the Iraqis, Egyptians and Syrians were supplied by the Soviets, at the time the french supplies were as good as the soviets's.
