Exactly especially the layers of background vocals and various adlibs by the other members as well, that is what makes it a difficult song to sing.

@@anu-radha_7423 agree. The producer said many groups asked for a Tempo-like song but it's difficult to come up with anything as good as that. And of course, EXO vocals are top notch so they were able to give justice to the song.

In the beginning of the video, Chanyeol was just trying to think of what to say and Baekhyun started harmonizing and so on with the other members. The classroom is the set of Knowing Bros, which is also known as Men on A Mission and Ask Us Anything. It's a sort of Korean variety show idol groups go on often. Also, the clip of Chen singing on the show is him singing Tears in the original female key. EXO has 9 members, but originally had 12. Currently they are promoting as 6 because 2 members are doing their mandatory military service (as under Korean law) and there have been complications with Lay being a Chinese member and political tension between China and South Korea. It's a whole thing, and I think someone else could explain better so I'm just putting it plainly. Lay and Chen only have solo releases. On the 10th Baekhyun has his solo debut. Other members have released individual songs- SWFW by Chanyeol, That's Okay by D.O., You by Xiumin, Curtain by Suho- but they have not had solo debuts. EXO is under SM Entertainment, which has this collaboration project called STATION, which is where those individual songs have been released, as well as collaborations with other artists. Examples of collaborations are Young by Baekhyun (EXO) and Loco (rapper under AOMG), Dinner by Suho (EXO) and Jane Jang (solo singer), We Young by Chanyeol (EXO) and Sehun (EXO), and Young and Free by Xiumin (EXO) and Mark (NCT). Don't ask me why so many of those titles have the word "young" in them, lol! Hopefully none of that was confusing!

Thank you for this reaction. Exo are known as KINGS OF VOCALS of 3rd gen in Kpop. They are also known as KPOP KINGS of their gen. They are a powerhouse of vocals and talents. All members can sing,even rappers and dancers. Don't be mislead by their mv views, the largest fanbases of Exo are in China and Japan. And they are not that promoted outside Asia though they are also known in Western countries despite that. And what's so amazing about them is they are HUMBLE. They always promotes the Kpop not themselves. They are polite and mannerly that they are always praised by other artists and celebs. They are the NATION'S PICK. The Korean government and citizens choice to represent the Korea in Music/Entertainment. Anyway.... I strongly recommend Exo's ACOUSTIC MEDLEY. This part of their concert that showcase every member's vocals. They make harmonization looks easy. See them jam while slaying a vocal. Please check it out. It's lit and won't disappoint you. You know what’s amazing about exo and why i stanned them? Basically they’re just not your idols that sticks to their concepts. They change concepts every album. From cute school boys in growl to dark crazy monster and lotto. They have songs from ballads, to pop, to rnb, to edm, to rock, and everything in between. They have their regular albums, and they release winter special albums (these have different types of ballads, and heart warming and heart wrenching songs. They rarely write/produce songs bec the company is strict with their artists (they kind of believe that artists should just focus on performing bec they can afford big name writers after all) but they have written and produced gems and participating more on their recent albums. Songs like lights out, heaven, promise and many more. Moreover, exo aren’t just famous as a group. Each member has built their names in every part of the industry. They are all actors, in dramas, movies, musicals. They are also models and they attend fashion shows. Kai is an official gucci ambassador, he has also modeled ralph lauren and levi’s. Sehun is zegna’s and louis vuitton. Suho for bvlgari and miumiu. Lay for valentino (and he represents tons of brands in china). Chanyeol for tommy hilfiger. And baekhyun has his own fashion brand in new york called prive. They also have successful soloists. Lay, chen and on july 10 baekhyun will debut as a soloist too. Please check them out as well! I got into exo bec of music, some others were from discovering members through shows, or through movies and dramas. We all end up loving them tho. Thank tou for reacting positively to them. I'm surprised that you thought that after hearing Tempo, with an entire acapella section that's completely dependent on them having stellar vocals. The producers actually said that despite getting a lot of requests for songs like it, they said no, and essentially that EXO is the only group that could pull it off. And it's exactly that good live too.

EXO has been around for 7 years - so there is *a lot* to get through! Not to mention all of the new stuff coming up this month! Baekhyun's first solo album City Lights comes out on 10th July, a new sub-unit EXO-SC (Sehun & Chanyeol - EXO's rappers) are releasing an album on 22nd July. Earlier this year Chen had his first solo album April, and a Flower; plus EXO has a sub-unit EXO-CBX (Chen, Baekhyun, Xiumin) which has been around since 2016! Fun fact : the above video contained songs and performance only till 2015 , they debuted in 2012 so those were performances of their initial years , they have improved a lot . For solo songs that are great Baekhyun - young (lyrics video) DO - tell me what is love Chen- beautiful goodbye, tears ( on knowing brothers , that's the name of the show with that classroom) ( The above three are the main vocalists , but exo's lead vocalists are also better than many groups main vocals, there company sm entertainment are known for having great vocalists) Exo CBX - as I live , cry , papercuts Exo - stronger, been through.

The factory is SM. They choose teen boys and girls as trainees, gives them a very hard training like singing on treadmills, dancing, etc. These people are sharing a dorm together; cleaning after themselves. The team building reaches to a ridiculous level so we believe they are really family. For SM, singing/voice is very important and comes right after being humble. SM has the secret to build great artists that sells insanely for almost 4 decades. An opera teacher, while reacting them for the first time, said; this is everything that tells about a group... these young men hold the mic to each other instead of shining themselves. They are the first (and maybe only) artists that reach 10 million sales globally after year 2000. This doesn’t include the digital sales. They are the fastest selling concert artists (Wikipedia/ fastest selling products/concerts). Ah, the most important thing: they are always better live, especially in concerts.

EXO is really the vocal kings in kpop. All members can sing really really good even the rappers. Each one has different colors and texture in their vocals. And they harmonized so well. Exo are the kings of K-pop, they raised and started the 3rd generation, they are known as the vocal kings of the industry, they don't promote outside of Asia because of their company but they are one of the biggest boy groups in their own country and in Asia. For solo stuff check: Lay - Honey / Give Me a Chance Chen - Beautiful Goodbye / Flower Baekhyun - Take You Home / UN Village (it will be released tomorrow lol) D.O. - That's Okay Suho - Curtain Chanyeol - SSFW / if you want rap solo from him check (Hand) Xiumin - You / Beyond Sehun - Go sadly Kai doesn't have a solo song but you can check out "I See You" he sings a little but dance more in that performance :) he was voted by Kpop singers as the best Idol dancer. 5:43 pretty accurate but the company chose which K-pop trainees to put in a group. After the years passed EXO became a family (not legally but they care for each other like one).

You can check the newly released solo mini album of Baekhyun, "UN Village" and the other songs of that album. Chen also just released his mini album last april 'beautiful goodbye' and the other songs with that album. Chanyeol solo song 'SSFW' (summer,spring, fall and winter). Xiumin song 'YOU' and D.O 'that's okay'. This coming july 22 there's another solo mini album from the duo Chanyeol and Sehun... That's it just a suggestion as you said that you want to see their solo songs... the songs I mentioned is the latest songs they each had since they do solo songs before...

As an avid kpop listeners for years, EXO is definitely the best in the industry in terms of vocals. If there are still doubt about their vocal ability, you can check out their Exo'rdium in Seoul (Accoustic Medley).
