This one is insane. The chorus is huge, the diversity in texture while remaining cohesive is wild, huge stompy drive. Incredible stuff. Absolute adore this. We have what's distinctly Thornhill with the best parts of Loathe/Deftones and early 2000s numetal.

Yeah dude you gotta go back and listen to past albums, counterparts is one of those bands that will absolutely grow on you. The difference between hell and home is the best place to start in their discography, but all of them are good lol

love me some Drew reactions but it feels like his mic is like, popping more than i remember? Maybe it's on my end, idk. Pops on the D's, C's, B's, T's
@DrewFortune974 сағат бұрын
Hey man, yeah you’re right my mic situation has been awful for the past while. I got a new PC which has the loudest fans and I’ve been struggling to get rid of the ‘hissing’ sound from the fans which you can hear pretty much every time I speak. Also, moved into a new apartment recently which as you can see from the video is pretty bare bones and empty, so the echo in the room is awful too. I’ve found that if I speak closely into the mic it helps prevent echo, but that obviously adds to the likelyhood of popping 😅 And to add to all of that, I have to constantly have the window open in the room as I run a cable outside for my internet, so there’s always noise from outside creeping in😢 But I’ll see if I can at least sort the popping out 👀

I wasn't a fan of most of the Herione stuff because of the production on the vocals. The mic constantly sounds like it's clipping. It's an intentional choice on their part, but just not for me. But I saw them live this summer and they were AMAZING live. The singer (I don't remember his name, sorry!) sounded PHENOMENAL live. It made me go back and listen to the album again and while I still don't care for the production I like it more now having heard some of it live. But every single they've put out SINCE that album I have loved. This one is no exception. I really like them. This is going to sound weird, but I kind of find them to be a heavier version of Muse more than Deftones.

I hold TDP as a top 3 album, while I don't care for heroine except for a few tracks, but I've come around to really like the new singles, and nerv is sick, definitely a step in the right direction for me

Obsession was my most played track this year. Been loving everything they have been doing since heroine, so i have been pumped with every release they put out.

When you said you haven’t listened to Hollow Crown yet, I audibly went “WOW!” That is their best album. It’s obviously a very different sound than their current stuff. Much more raw and technical. Plus, the title track is an excellent closer. In Elegance and We’re All Alone are up there among my favorites on the album.

Thornys new sound takes me a little longer to get behind, but there is no doubt that the songs are unbelievable - I just understand the necessity to allocate a few repeat listens whilst reading the lyrics for myself to connect. Chorus is top tier

Man I swear call me crazy but I can't name a better band name all genres mixed than Thornhill. They are just too good, TDP is my favourite album of all time and when I thought i didnt fw their new stuff, they drop that bomb like what... That song gave me chills and I was litterally hungry for more when it ended. Massive.

I got introduced to Thornhill via Heroine and i absolutely adored the fuck out of it. I was less fond of TDP when i first heard it than Heroine but it grew on me a ton and Heroine and TDP are now 2 of my favorite albums of all time, this single shocked me from how it to me feels different to how it felt from everything else that they've put out and i absolutely love it for that. Great single, Heroine is a 10/10. TDP is a 10/10 and all the singles i heard are a 10/10, i'm a certified Thornhill glazer

Loved TDP, hated the Heroine singles but once the full LP came out I was hooked and it quickly became one of my favorite albums of all time. Now anything this band touches Im a big fan of. Definitely an extension of the Heroine era here, but definitely a newer direction as well. Cant wait to hear more!

It's not that its bad or anything it's just fairly generic metalcore, their is no emotion in it. No lyrical depth. I hope they get the success they're striving for but there are so many bands you can go to if you want bog standard chuggy metalcore, I didn't need it from Architects but it's sirll enjoyable and I'll be in the pit when it comes on so that's something.

I think it's their best single off the new record so far., really not a fan of the last two albums so hoping the new one's better! Also you checking out Cane Hill - a piece of me I never let you find? My favourite album this year I think.

Hollow crown album reaction 👀 Make sure you’re prepared for 30-40 minutes of pure brutality
@luismgoncalvesКүн бұрын
I don't think you'd be a massive fan of Hollow Crown, but Daybreaker probably would be your style it is a clear predecessor to LF/LT, but I might be wrong this is just based on watching your previous reactions. Regardless this track is nice for this new style they've been on, I think Seeing Red is still my favourite out of the new ones though. It's not the Architects I want but it' where they're at atm and it's still good

I've been raging my socks off to this song since it came out brother. I absolutely love it and tbh one of the better songs they've done in a while. I really enjoy how pissed he sounds, it's very much a display of how a lot of people feel right now and how the world is going to shit. Also I haven't seen it too much yet, mostly just support and positivity, but I have to laugh when people grimace or comment on the gaydown 😂 I think it proves the point very well, if someone doesn't react to the first makeout with the masks, but does react to the gay makeout, it shows exactly what it sets out to do; point out anyone who doesn't like seeing gay people 🤣
