Akuma was actually a man named ryu,and by ryu I don't mean he's literally our ryu,what if gouki/akuma's real name by birth before he became the master of the fist was ryu,he was later named akuma/gouki(in japan)by his brother gouken after he killed their master goutetsu and took the title master of the fist. what if evil ryu from super street fighter 4 isn't our ryu,the student of master gouken and friend of ken,but actually a younger akuma,and we are seeing a glimpse of gouki's past. and similar to bison and rose,ryu the student of gouken is a being that split from gouki's soul,and he's what's left of gouki's humanity. I also have a theory that oni's storyline in super street fighter 4 is Indeed CANON and could very well take place,some time after the main events of SF4,V and second impact/3rd strike(Street fighter 3)like at some point in the future akuma will finally embrace the satsui no hado to it's true nature becoming Shin Oni

Dat Boi auras wrath isn't canon,I had to explain that shit multiple times. Ryu never fully went no hado,in canon. And Basically what I was trying to say is that we were actually seeing two seperate timelines of who we thought was one character . from two seperate time periods the whole time. I was trying to explain in my theory,(that. that evil ryu in super street fighter 4 was actually gouki,in his youth,and we were fooled into thinking he was an evil version of ryu.(auras wrath isn't canon,so it's invalid) I never meant ryu and akuma were literally the same character. +Dat boi thank you for being polite,I've made several versions of my theory on multiple youtuber's channels and they've either ignored my comment or was being an asshole,I'm trying to be as clear as I can,I have to keep trying to explain to people,That my theory isn't implying that ryu and akuma are literally the same character,as I've mentioned before multiple times and I know evil ryu was established by ono to be a what if character from the jump,same with oni,I was just theorizing that for the super street fighter 4 version of evil ryu,everything we've witnessed so far in his prologue and ending,could have actually taken place in a separate timeline set many years in the past and that the man fully consumed by the satsui no hado isn't actually ryu,but a young akuma. I was theorizing that we could have been seeing a glimpse gouki's past unfold but seeing we're seeing it if is was ryu, it's a metaphorical meaning in a metaphorical sense we are looking at ryu,but in in reality it's gouki we are seeing in the evil ryu story line of super street fighter 4. I know game play wise the theory is easily debunk-able if you take the dialogue from the non canon boss fights or win quotes into consideration,or the manga from the 1990's where evil ryu happened because akuma punch a hole in his chest,but as I mentioned earlier none of those sources are truly canon (it means official) to the story of the street fighter game's storyline,media such as the udon comics,the manga's and the films are basically fan made properties,they aren't true to the story of the games. for my theory I explained a real possible reason why the character has a hole in his chest,I will explain it to you in the next reply.

+dat boi I know people are going to argue that NO! sf4 evil ryu is just ryu,because in a comic ryu's chest in shown being punched by akuma,yes I am fully aware,but remember THE MANGA/COMIC WAS NEVER CANON,the design for e.ryu in 4 is just based off the manga's design,it's not officially canon,there's no real explanation for why there's a hole in evil ryu's chest. for my theory,I mentioned that everything we saw in evil ryu's story from super street fighter 4,actually took place in a separate timeline set many years in the past,prior to the main events of the street fighter games,and the character who we perceive to be an evil ryu version is really a young akuma,for the reason why there's a hole in the character's chest,my guess is that the hole in his chest was a Temporary result of him tapping into the satsui no hado for the first,time,gouki was very young when he was studying the satsui no hado,and it may have taken many years to finally control it better,maybe around the time after he killed he killed goutetsu,he was having issues,trying to control his dark hado,and it was so bad,that it almost nearly destroyed him ,that's until he met a woman with a hidden power of her,own and that woman was none other than kazumi mishima, I know you are going to say,well tekken 7 akuma is a different version of the street fighter version,so it's like an alternate universe,I guess you might be right since Tekken creator harada did say akuma in tekken 7 was his own version,well lets say both games were canonically connected in a shared universe,at some point a young gouki,comes across kazumi,the young warrior has gone completely mad and is almost at the point of losing his humanity for good(oni) this is where kazumi comes in,while kazumi has a dark power of her own,there's still more to her story,that harada never explained or revealed,so far we know that kazumi,before she married heihachi and gave birth to kazuya,she was from the Hachijo clan,not much is known about this clan,except that they are a clan of assassins,maybe kazumi used some of her abilities to heal gouki 's body healing/removing the wound/hole and scars on his chest,and she probably taught him how to control the satsui no hado(assuming if she knew About it) and taught gouki a powerful technique that helped him master the satsui no hado without losing his sanity,that would explain why akuma in tekken 7 said kazumi once saved him,because she helped him control the satsui. and it would also explain why akuma has full control of the satsui no hado and can tap into more of it's power without completely losing himself(hence shin akuma) and I know others are going to say NO! sf4 evil ryu is just ryu because ONO said.....I KNOW WHAT HE OBVIOUSLY SAID,you don't have to repeat yourself,it's pretty obvious that evil ryu is mean't to be a what if character from the start,and he's mean't to be ryu,GAMEPLAY WISE YES,HE IS MEAN'T TO BE RYU,but I was just making a fun theory that storyline wise,the person who we've seen lying on the ground fully consumed by the no hado isn't ryu,like shown to be portrayed' but a younger akuma and capcom is using ryu as a metaphor.

Rad Dash oh my brother struggles with it too. Basically my advice for you is to do a normal hadoken but do the motion on the left stick twice so move the stick down then to the right twice then click x, circle and r2 at the same time and then it will work. If you need more help reply
