Welcome to Drexciya. However, listening to this you have not even scratched the surface. It all goes deeper. There is still much more exploration and research to be done it's not all mapped out yet. You need to explore the depths. Also, R.I.P James Stinson (founding member of Drexciya).

I just wish more people understood the beauty in these tracks. The simplicity, the pureness, the rawness. The real deal. Kids wasting their time with the over-produced, commercial nonsense getting played in the clubs these days should take note. Educate yourself, listen & discover the underground. The long-term rewards are priceless.

What's with trying to push your personal tastes all over everyone? Is it that unimaginable to suppose that other people may be satisfied with what they listen on a regular basis?

Your music taste doesn't make you superior to others or more educated than others, just saying
@gravityhammer256 жыл бұрын
+mairon I +exploding nuke Just because someone is satisfied with what they listen to does not mean that the music they are listening to is acceptable. However, it's not about pushing anything on anyone. People are going to do what they want but you missed the whole point of OP's comment. This is about the majority of music today being dumbed down for the purpose of simplifying the general population. Music has more of an effect on generations then you think. Music is really what we use to define generations and people themselves. Underground music such as Drexciya has made me more educated. It allowed me to break through my own barriers. Enhanced my levels of concentration and self awareness. Without it I would not have completed my College Degree and would not be enjoying the successes that I am today. I still am not satisfied the journey continues... everyday I try to discover and learn something new. Music should not just satisfy, it should move people and allow them to become greater then their-self, become aware of what they are really doing. The music is for YOU. If you don't want to take it and use it fine... but this stuff does have power. The truth is there is garbage music out there and it is meant to entertain people and maby even lower their IQ's. BTW: I have listened to all genre's Techno, Electro, Hip-Hop, Punk Rock, Metal, Ambient, Dub (NOT DUBSTEP) and many more genre's.... you can find redeeming qualities in all genre's of music. Even screaming Punk Rock and Metal has positive messages that you can pickup on. It is the music that intentionally is bringing societies down and that is wrong. You can see proof of it... just look at these Mumble "rappers" out here and what they are doing to the youth. Look at what happened in Chicago with "Drill" music... you cannot say that the music did not have an impact on all the violence going on. Look at what Detroit Techno has done for the city of Detroit, it gives the people hope. Humanity has High Tech dreams in a Low Tech Society. It is the High Tech dreams that is important How can humanity ever advance and become a spacefaring race if our music is only talking about clubbing and drugs? Sometimes music with no words is better because it at least makes the listener work to question and interpret the meaning.
