My favorite part of your videos is to watch the production value increase over time as you learn how to be excellent at this job.

Thanks drex for being here for us :) I love your videos. I'll go to the park and practice your tutorials. Isolations are next on my list, so far my body doesn't want to do them but good things need time :) much love, koni

It's soo good hearing how passionately you talk about poi with such an educated vocabulary! I think my passions are resurging :)

Your an inspiration man. I remember meeting you at Burning Man and you asked me if this was the Poi tent. But I was just poi-ing in the corner like a madman lol. I've been out of practice myself (life) but thank god for body memory. Also sometimes when you light up after years and years. YOU JUST TURN ON! You are a master. Props! J

I don't know the names of many of the tricks I'm trying to learn, and your channel has been so helpful for my flow vocab on top of just learning new moves. I knew 1.5s but I couldn't find a butterfly 1.5 tutorial because I didn't know what they were called. I didn't know that windmills into extension was the poitruvian man until another recent video you posted. Thanks again for being a great teacher. 😊 I can't wait to take one of your in person classes post pandemic!

Just to be clear...Drex you are not the only individual in the D.C area, who can do horizontal cat-eye vs iso in splt/opps. There are quite a DMV natives who can as well, at this point to say the least. I myself learned them as early as 2013...

Drex, I love you. Your tutorials got me through 2020, and are still getting me through 2021. So, thank you very much! ✨❤️✨ . . . That said, I would love to not ever hear about your “short” or “stubby” arms ever again. I’m 5’4” and my torso is probs just a few inches less in diameter at the chest and waist, but my arms are likely shorter than yours by half a foot, or more. It’s near impossible for me to pull off any BTB movements like weaves or mind-meltdowns, and probably physically impossible to ever make them look clean. Even with daily stretching, I can barely get my fingers to peak out across my waist from behind my back. And I’m a *skinny* short guy, too! . . . I’m still gonna keep at it, and maybe some day get my BTB movements somewhat presentable. . . . But please, just be grateful for the arm length you have, and trust, they 👏 are 👏 not 👏 short 👏 or 👏 stubby 👏. I know short and stubby when I see it, cuz I live it; and you’re not that 😜. Just sayin. 😘
