Tried to learn this back in high school and gave up. Turns out all I needed was the mental cue of an elbow button to get this down. You're an excellent teacher, and your videos are the only reason I'm not fully stressing about building a routine for my circus school auditions. Aghhh I basically just got the reverse! Have known the forward one for about 8 years lol about to be opening some more flow hopefully with the reverse!

I just can't seem to get this one :( with your old tutorial on the forward 3-beat weave I got the hang of it straight away, but for some reason i'm really struggling with this one... you make it look so easy! but my poi get all tangled up and don't know which way they're spinning :( thanks for the great tutorials though!

3-beat and reverse weave has the same basic technique as "Shiranui" in Wotagei/Japanese cyalume dance
