Poi Waist Wrap Tutorial (Beginner Poi Tricks)

We've learned our forward and reverse 3-beat weave, today we put them together into the poi waist wrap! Waistwraps are shorthand for turning back and forth with our poi weave from forward to reverse--a pretty useful tool for being able to turn while poi spinning with this trick and getting freedom of movement with it. This will help you hone your poi dancing skills as well as helping you dive into what makes each of these versions of the weave work.

Play poi would always reverse his words of left and right sides and hands and get confused... But watching you in reverse is even more confusing. You should just flip the video in post edit so viewers and watch and mirror.
