as a btech computer science student myself i recommend bca and mca. save yourself from useless subjects and unnecessary head ache and stress. a mca pass out get the same status as a btech student and you will get much more time and less pressure while you can focus on skills based on real life job requirements.

To mai admission le liya bsc me or abhi 2nd semester me hu .. filhal meri aankhe khul gyi h ki achha hua jo maine b tech nhi kiya .. bsc krenge or gov.. job ka preparation krenge .. padhna to pdega he chahe b tech me padho ya fir isme padho competition ab jagah hai bhai ... Jo utna paisa afford nhi krr skta ki b tech kr paye uske liye koe regret nhi hona chahiye sb equal h mere bhai .. mehnt krni hii pdegi 😊😢😢

As a student of bsc , i will advice you to go for btech rather than bsc , you will have more job oppurtunity definately ,don't fall in trap You can be teacher even after btech in edtech , bsc student have no skill , and if you are interested in research than go for bs-ms in iiser or bsc from good college , you can even do PhD after btech , all student are not very interested in bsc to do research so it's of no use , you have to do msc than you can go for drdo , BARC etc. , And the btech student who wants to do msc are very less who are really interested in doing research

Depends on the priorities of an individual. If priority is only to get a job then choose btech because after 4 years Kuch na Kuch jugar to ho hi jata hai. Mere jo friends btech pass kiye sab ko kuch na kuch jobs mil gya. But if priority is interest in a particular subject, curiosity to know that subject in depth then a student must choose bsc. It's not that ki bsc kar liya toh matlab life barbaad. Bsc k baad v aap job kar sakte ho jaise ki banking sector iya fir aur v government jobs jaha sirf graduation degree hona mangta hai. Ha agar apke subject se related kuch karna hai toh thora wait karna parta hai. Jaisa ki aapko msc karna hoga uske baad phd karke aap koi college meh as a professor parha sakte ho. Aur agar aap chemistry k field se ho toh msc k baad v bahut sare industries meh job opportunities milte hai uske liye phd nehi lagta hai. Whatever you choose as a career if you are able to do that with perfection then you will definitely achieve success

My opinion after studying Bsc physics Msc Physics And studying Mtech at IIT. After 12th students should Attempt JEE Mains and Advance try to score good results then Join Btech Engineering Physics or Mathematics and Computing courses in IITs or NITs or any other good Engineering Institute since than Bsc Physics and Bsc Maths. I feel for research purposes project based learning is better Btech usually have compulsory project in syllabus. Now If you choose Bsc next important exam for academics is IIT JAM gives your 100% for that exam.

In my opinion, you should go for BTech if you get your desired branches like CSE, IT, ECE, etc. in tier 1 colleges like IITs, NITs, IIITs, BITS, Jadavpur,DTU, NSUT,etc. If you get admission offer for BSc from tier 1 colleges like IISc, IISER, NISER, etc. then go for BSc over BTech in tier 2 colleges. Otherwise choose tier 2 and tier 3 colleges for BTech over tier 2 and tier 3 colleges for BSc.

Namaskar Sir, Four years back, I arranged admission of my son in AAKASH Innstitute for NEET foundation course of. But he discontinued 6-8 months, though I paid full 2 years payment. But after secondary exam, he forced me to arrange admission in AAKASH for NEET coaching. Then also I paid full 2 years payment to save me from his blame game. But after again a few months he stopped following AAKASH classes. Then he took private tutions for 12 board exam. This year he is appearing for physics improvement (scored only 23 in board exam) and he vowed to pursue B Tech next year despite myrepeated request to quite science and to go for Humanities. As a few famous people could perform miraculous achievement despite poor performance in student life, so he will study only and only B Tech as the scope of BTech is more. Now I can not understand how, I should handle the situation. Pls advise something.

Lol, give him 2016 JEE Advanced paper and he will return back to his normal state and leave the thought of pursuing Btech. Ask him to solve all question. A boy who can't prepare for an exam and quits in 6 months, i don't think he will be able to cope up with Btech which really has vast outdated syallabus. Ask him to learn coding and apply for interships. Learn coding from KZbin, make projects, participaterr in Hackathon competion and crack an interview of a mnc. Always Skills >>>>> Degree Trust me if he is attracted to Btech just because of placements of 1 cr or 2 cr, these packages are recieved by very few, even 50+ lpa is offered to brilliant studentts who has extra technical and coding skill and has a cgpa of 9. Most people end up with 5-6 LPA. My friends brother Srivastav ended up with 5 LPA package. Save your money and do a business which has more scope. Most tech jobs are in a volatile state, many people are leaving their jobs because of low packages and many people are laid off. If your son is behind IITIAN tag then tell him most of IItian are preparing for Goverment, rest goes abroad and runs a startup. Don't get in the trap of Btech degree nunless it's your only aim. Come to gorakhpur's Svadhya library and you will find many iitians and nitian preparing for government jobs.

BSc and BCA courses have good scope in India, but the duration of these degrees should be 4 years instead of 3 years just like BTech. Then BSc and BCA students can also directly pursue their master's in foreign countries like USA and Canada instead of completing their master's in India and then pursuing PHD abroad.
