If there's no vacancy or less vacancy then competition would rise and there's cut throat competition since a lot of net b.ed pass out are waiting for the opportunities. Conclusion: UGC NET & B.ed is just a degree which makes you eligible to fight for vacancies. You'll still have to face competition!

B.ed is better for getting quick job..as I am a Ph.d, ugc net jrf set in Sociology and it is really hard to get job although after 4 years I was able to get temporary govt job as lecturer and still continuing it as guest faculty in Sociology in m.p.

Dear Ma'am, Please don't mind my words. Because you have incomplete information. Fist thing, I want to tell you that B.Ed and M.Ed are not simple courses like MA, MSc, MCom as well as Diplomas. B.Ed and M.Ed are professional degree or technical courses. It is also teacher training or teacher education program. UGC can not support to pursue any professional courses from distance mode who has internship and practical. So, According to UGC/ NCTE, No body can pursue B.Ed and M.Ed from Distance mode. Second thing is that B.Ed is mandatory for PGT Post almost all the States/UTs except Uttar Pradesh. Even KVS, NVS and DSSSB also required BEd for PGT vacancy. Thank you so much Ma'am ❤❤❤❤

Currently I am a BA 3rd year student ya i can say that first i am doing BA(general) because it is best don't opt honours my subject combination of BA is History,Pol Sci and English literature and then i will thought doing M.A. with English while in masters i will prepare for jrf also and then i thought clear jrf is a best thing but please don't opt a ph.d go for b.ed it is good for you with same subject just i will do b.ed. With English and History Always kept in mind 1.Subject combination matters 2.atleast try to save 60% in every degree it saves you 3.Always kept a language in your degree because Language subjects vacancies came a lot 4.don't go for ph.d clear jrf if u get job as a assistant professor then must apply for ph.d with ur profession it boost ur position 5.Always work in right direction because the student life phase is so important ur one mistake eats a lots of years

In maharashtra they charge 60 lakhs- donation to appoint you as an asst. Professors in college. In junior college they demand 35-40 lakhs, in High school they demand 30-35 lakhs. What can a poor do? Bed, net,Set,PhD. are of no use without donation. And this is a regular custom in maharashtra. No government has any power to eradicate this custom. No one ever dare to touch this costum. Because most of the institutes belongs to MPs, MLAs.
