Many times Tom Cruise mentioned assorted injuries to his teeth and nose eg. He got hit by tennis rackets and hockey pucks. So he had his teeth capped or had braces which may not have been done correctly as a kid . At some point his mother had to support her 4 children by working 3 jobs. He also had an overbite and as late as 2002 he actually was wearing braces. Watch him speak with a lisp at the 2002 Academy awards. It was sort of cute.

This was a very good video. It appears that all of the surgeries he may have had done just enhanced his features over the years. Or, at the very least, were conservative enough that allow him to still look like himself. In regards to his hair, it could also be genetic. My dad is the same age as Tom and has always had a full head of naturally light brown hair that's never grayed or thinned. My dad has also never used any medical treatment for his hair either, he just has really stubborn hair; my late grandpa on his side had similar hair too. It's probably not a super common type of genetic hair thing but it could still be a possibility for Tom.

I am sure that Tom Cruise has undergone all the enhancements Dr Gary has listed, after all, he has a trained eye to spot these things. What I am most impressed about is how Dr Gary describes the areas of the face, the natural changes due to aging, the enhancements, why he thinks it is enhanced the reasons why someone would get them done. No emotion, no drama, purely clinical. So good! I also think, as an actor, Tom has done a pretty good job of keeping all his surgeries and enhancements low key so they do not detract from his distinctive face. For example, he could have 'fixed' his nose, made the tip less bulbous and more asymmetrical - but then he wouldn't be so recognizable and he didn't do anything like that. Also he has taken great care of his skin!

@@Tony32 Lighting made a big difference in many of these pictures. I know I look good in the yellow, soft light of my bathroom. Sunlight, in the car, totally different look. Always check at a stoplight 😊At-work lighting, not a good look from the bathroom make-up application. Remember that vanity mirror with different lighting options to see how you look in different lights to adjust your make-up wherever you were going?

Really sharp guy with excellent presentation skills. As a retired anesthesiologist, I must say the great majority of plastic surgeons I worked with over a career were superior practitioners/ really A+ people and a great pleasure to work with. The specialty does a very good job quality-controlling its docs!

I watched a 60 minutes episode about a horrifying practice in Australia, and the word is that a bunch of docs here in Beverly Hills are hacks too. That plastic surgery if not regulated enough - it’s like the wild west, which is why we have so many crazy lookin’ people that use it. Also, any doctors that do a Brazilian butt lift are total reckless hacks. That surgery is the most dangerous one someone can get, and should be illegal in the US.

Have a near death experience and becoming older is a gift from God. Getting surgery to keep from getting older is a waste! Tom Cruise demonstrates what a waste it is. Before any obnoxious remarks, yes I have had a near death experience, I am grateful to be getting older!

Doc 🌹I always learn something new by how you compare the physical facial appearances of these celebrities. You put up on the phone🌎 photos spanning through years of the changes that occur on each celebrity 🎉 I love it as so many times I've noticed differences, but couldn't put my finger on it!

@@ASMRyouVEGANyetwhich is weird no? We live in quite qealthy generation interms of knowledge of the uv light, skin care cheap products, no more radiation in them. Healthier food, people rly liked canned food back in the 20th century, sports are popular nowday. Does make me wonder if its the processed foods or what? We also dont work as hard as they did, jobs got safer and easier. But now they require less manual laibor, more sitting jobs. Im 26 tho I still look like im 18 if I shave. Dont really work out but I eat healthy homemade foods. Habe friends they also look quite young.

You should know as a plastic surgeon that the reason the right side of his face is more developed is because he is missing a canine or an incisor tooth on his left side. His midline is off for this reason - look at the line between his two front teeth, it's off to the left as opposed to directly under the centre of his nose. Tooth loss also equals facial bone loss, and since his tooth was clearly removed at a young age, it has also affected his facial development. I look forward to the day where people realise the importance of teeth, they're not only for chewing. Dentists make a lot of money from ruining peoples' faces, and by putting the body's midline out of whack, which affects the strength and integrity of the whole body. Everything is connected.

@@PiggyPickem - Are you suggesting your wisdom teeth were removed just because? Or did the dentist have a legitimate reason for removing them? Mine were removed because they were impacted.

Tooth loss also equals muscle atrophy. Less chewing.
