I always like how all the dwarves are weirdly fond of the Hexawing Gniffer. They're chill with it, and in turn, it's chill with them

In regards of naming schemes, will you keep your dwarven motif? like Dwarven history enthusiat or something along those lines?

Also, it's interesting how much of Hoxxes' life and environment is inspired by the ocean. Whether it be the endemic fauna of Azure Weald and Dense Biozone, the naedocytes, Q'ronars, Nyaka trawlers, breathers, or the fact that Salt Pits was once a salty ocean. It makes me wonder if much of Hoxxes' underground was a vast subterranean ocean that was either lost or drained further down below the crust (like within Glacial Strata). Suppose it was all an ocean, and it was lost. In that case, it likely happened over a very long period of time, explaining why once aquatic life managed to transition to terrestrial lifestyles or why Salt Pits is so thoroughly caked in salt deposits (though then the question would rise of why isn't the rest of Hoxxes similarly covered in salt.)

on the subject of small, otherwise purposeless plants on the ground are the "infector blob"s seen throughout all biomes, which very strongly resemble spitball infectors in name and appearance, plus the miner's manual entry for the spitballer describes it as "impossible to classify as either fauna or flora"

The azure weald, cornucopia of hoxxian flora. I like to imagine the glyphids sometimes "raid" this area for food, or perhaps bring back clippings similarly to leafcutter ants, so that they might grow fungus gardens to help feed the hive.

I think Orchey Shy and the other skittish flower dont mind damage because they are movement based detectors. And bullets are both too small and fast to get detectors. As such they don't understand the danger of fast and small bullets and cant react

Damn. I dunno man. After seeing the recording... even the competition amongst peers is really high in DRG. But I have no other choice! This is the only shot I have to get out of this hell hole of a planet and actually earn decent money. Mama, I'm off to Hoxxes IV. I love you.

My theory on the anomalies like low gravity pit and Defense rock: Defense rocks: This rock formation somehow interacts with your skin making it harder. Kind of how radiation harms your DNA but these rock emissions are beneficial unlike radiation emissions. Possibly the rock is a strong magnet that magnetizes into repulsion anything organical that comes across, When dwarf is shot during effect of a crystal the magnetic power repels the bullet decreasing damage, when glyphid swings the claw is slowed down. Gravity pit: Those are actually quite a mystery, but I guess those dots are like chemical geysers, but weaker and long ranged. I guess these geysers (if we assume they're not liquid) are some sort of mineral (or liquid) native to the planet and the pit being the result of liquid being there, slowly digging through ground. Conclusion: I believe that those are NATIVE to the Hoxxes, The Defense rocks being a really powerful and unique magnet while the pits are just results of rock corroding mineral being turned into liquid But that's just a theory

Also, what factors informed your placements of what biomes went in which tiers? Is it how much lore they provide? Their appearance? How fun they are to play on? All of the above? I'm genuinely curious.

Theory for those blue crystals: u get the same particles as them when approached, and they give you increase defense. What's something that has high defense? Crystals. I think when approached they partially and temporarily crystalise things, similar to ebonite. Side note: connection between ebonuts and ebonite???
