Oh yes...Of course I love Dricus and had the privilege of taking a pic with him when I had to grapple the boys as there was no girls competing....I got choked out twice but Impressed Dricus with my rugby tackle double leg take down...South African style. Gotta say, the fight Dricus describes is the fight I saw, including him winning rounds 2-5. DEFINITELY 5. I don't know what the fk people are looking at half the time. You could see Sean gas, you could see his demeanour become... hard done by. He was "over it". Very strange thing to see, considering the soundbytes he heaps upon us.The TDs... he actually sighed with the effort it was going to take to get up. Plain as day. And those jabs... if they aren't wobbling an opponent, if they aren't deterring... then they aren't a significant strike. Not sure what the future holds that Dricus breaks his foot every 3 months. It will end up a deadened, calcified club or a vulnerability. Hopefully he's working on the former. I think Adesanya needs to earn the right to fight DDP for the title, but obviously it wasn't said, he said he might lose, which means he doesn't get to fight him, Dricus doesn't want that risk, but I suppose he might be worried Adesanya will retire or something and he never gets to have that fight that he prepared for, imagined coming through the UFC, Adesanya was the champion all that time, he was the person everyone aims for. It's made me more generous at the prospect of him not earning the title fight. The Strickland rematch is a fight I don't need to see. Sean will do what he always does, only interest would be what Dricus changes to sort it out, fast. Excellent interview. Dricus is really good value talking about other fighters and their fights. Too many guys in the UFC really suck at talking about others, don't want to commit to a POV or something, or don't watch it. Maybe something in there for when he retires from fighting. Cameron's post fight career... I wonder what he could do? What would he be good at? Hmmm.... Looking forward to the next one.

Chomi i was also thinking you can do a competition where regular citizens get to train with their favorite efc fighter for 30 mins. The amount of views you would get. So you pick up a lucky contestant (ask DDP for his mercedes connection) then take the to the gym where they will train with MMA Fighter and do a lil meet and greet. Then get a few sponsors to provide merchandise and gifts for the lucky winner. 10min youtube video. do a press tour and promote it get every one excited and ofcourse make sure you pay the fighters for their time. Nothing is free in this world

I’m American but am a big fan of Dricus. The first fight I saw him in was probably a good two years before he made it to the UFC. It was versus Soldic, don’t remember his first name. The first fight was a real entertaining back and forth bout. Dricus straight up suplexed Soldic at one point. The second fight wasn’t as fast paced but I do recall Dricus taking what looked to be the worst nut shot I’ve ever seen, maybe Soldic just missed but it looked dead on, it was leading into the KO so it was like it never happened. Fight was over. But since that first fight I’ve been a fan. When he ended up in the UFC, I was like oh shit I’ve seen this fella before. And now you got the belt, crazy. Also how did you ever fight at welterweight, that cut must’ve been brutal. Cameron’s time is up next, became a huge fan of Cameron through following Dricus. Keep it up fellas, you have a few fans here in NYC. 🇺🇸🇿🇦

Strickland is a VERY nice guy. He puts on a good show is all. He says women shouldnt have the vote and should be in the kitchen, but put him near a woman and he's an absolute pussy cat. He certainly serves a niche, which makes him extremely popular right now. Perhaps the most popular fighter in the US. But while he is amazing at what he does, he is very limited in his skill set (great defense and great boxing). A champion that lasts needs to be far more well rounded. DDP is definitely that. If he can treat Strickland like that, hard to give Izzy much of a chance (tho u never know). Looking forward to see where you go mate!

Adesanya in no way deserves another freaking immediate title shot, doesn’t matter if he’s the UFC poster girl you don’t go 3-4 last 7 and 1-2 last 3, losing the belt the very next fight after getting TKO’d, winning it back and then getting dominated by a -670 underdog. True. Best to avoid adesanya during his cycle peak and get him while he's ovulating. On a serious note though, if I'm not wrong these guys are generally "optimising" their performance and cleaning out as necessary, so adesanya is not going to have an advantage in that regard
