I am courious to when you dry your fruit outside, what is the humidity in your area. I am thinking it's a dry area, where I live in a very humid area. Food would not dry the same here, and very likely to get moldy.

i think so just the dryer will be messy becos of the syrup...had sour apple last time well bought but it was a half sugar half natural dryed thing ... very nice in ( in fact less sugar than normal candied fruits and not so dry as normal fuits...seems to be close

Thank you Alba:) I have no secrets ,maybe I'm just lucky :) I eat anything and anytime I want, the only thing is that , I never get to sit and enjoy the meal, I do that on the go, I'm always moving ... And I don't get to exercise either, unfortunately :) Thank you again for watching !!

I can imagine. I'm one of 5 sisters, 2nd : )) So I know what it's like to grow up with more siblings. One of my sisters' has 5 , young children. Unfort. her husband died 2 mo. ago from a massive heart attack and she is left alone to raise 5 children. We all try to help as we can with what we can. Anyways, yes I always marveled how you keep so thin being so busy. I'm so busy with my children too, have only 3. It must be genetic. You're food looks super delicious. I want to try some recipes. You'd think you can gain weight only looking at the delicious food.

wow. why have I never heard of dehydrating watermelon RIND until now? I always told the rind part (the white part) was gross. Now I'm also hearing to eat the SKIN!? Wow.. such a waste until now. Sheesh. lol. Now I gotta get over the fear of making simple syrup. I've made syrups that have fruit in it, but not by itself. is there any risk of scorching the syrup? I know there's a point where it gets so hot it can BURN! frying oils and syrups. ugh they scare me. TFS

Jesus! Please learn how to lay the melon on its flat side so it's stable when you slice it...Carving or slicing a wobbly watermelon is gonna lead to some serious accidental hand and finger cutting with one slip.
