Matty, your voice was the perfect choice for both this track and “Walking in Memphis”. And that’s the thing about Darren, he’s a model producer. He not only knows where to find the best players and vocalists for a song, he is a master on the mixing board. There is nothing comparable on KZbin in my opinion. Keep the music playing!

Just so god damm smooth. It's sliding off my screen on KZbin. That was definitely a hard day's recording along with "Walking in Memphis". At least Matty had the fan front and centre. Another piece of education from Darren, a song I knew but not the artist. Always makes me look up the original and enjoy their other releases. Hang on, I saw Harley move early on!!! World first. I think he was getting ready for clapping his paws along with Dad later on! Even something as simple as a quick outro for some claps is so good. I could watch 4 minutes of any of the crew clapping and you know Darren would have it mixed to a T. This song speaks for itself in its goodness. Well done yet again, from the true Matty x

You do the Dobie Gray version justice, and believe me, that is high praise. Matty's lead is incredible, and Zkye is the perfect compliment to that. Zkye, you are awesome; your harmonies are spot on, and you have a gift of knowing exactly how much amplitude to use. Very impressive! This is one of the six songs I would have to have on a deserted island. Well done!

I continue to come back to Sing it Live they are the ultimate professionals and Darren is superb in picking artists for each and every song, I have not been disappointed once. As a 73 year old with a keen ear and a diverse appreciation of music from the 60's to 80's music you know good covers, these guys along with Post Modern Jukebox are a must listen to for sheer talent.

IMO this is the best of the SiL covers, although I will admit this is one of my all time songs. Top notch rendition and playing, without doubt. The beauty of these modern versions is the viewer can see the song being played as well as hearing it. We have all heard and seen famous bands, and some not so, over the years but how much of the detail have you seen?
