Could take or leave the snare, but just wanted to say your playing is really nice and fluid. Cheers.

I like that snare drum!

Very nice playing. I was surprised at the tonal range of that thin of a snare drum. It had depth plus good snap; a good mix of playability.

Thanks! And well said. I think that’s the exact reason why it’s a bit of a sought after snare. It has all that, but also that vintage sound to it, without getting boxy

Nice deep sound I’m in love .🤘

Great snare sound! Also great to hear a drum solo that is not "linear fill based". I feel that now-a-days drumming in restricted to that gospel chop type of grooves and fills

How do you hit your drums like that? Like very quietly but with a lot of movement, not sure how to describe it

Wonderful playing, lovely sounding kit! Might it be possible to share how to play the section at kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKmvin96eKukkMU please? Even just pointing me in the direction of dots for that particular groove would be hugely appreciated! Thanks for sharing this vid!

To be honest, I just improvised the whole thing, but I’ll try to work it out for you after my holidays

@@driftdrums5218 Hey, thanks so much! I'd really appreciate that. I just have no clue where to begin - it feels latin-y but can't quite figure the tom and ride accents!

What are the hi hats?
@driftdrums5218 Жыл бұрын
It’s a 14” K Zildjian Dark Thin hihat from the 90s. The ones with the brilliant finish and the specific type of hammering. Really love playing these hats!
