+ryan bellew (bellew1993) Hi there. The motor in the video, the LRP 12t was to much for the ESC and burnt it out (I think). I've actually just ordered a 18t brushless Tamiya motor to go with the current ESC (Tamiya TBLE-02s). The car has been running a stock Tamiya silver can for ages, so I'm finally going to rebuild it to its final form. That video should be coming when I get the parts. Thanks for watching.

Hi. Thanks for commenting. I have just moved house and having a few car issues at the moment but the final episode should be up in a few weeks.

I'm surprised you don't get more views....

The Drift Project build series is my most watched, but thanks for the compliment. I don't upload these videos just to get as many views as possible. I upload them because it may inspire people to start the hobby or may help people with their own RCs. Thanks again. =)

Yes it is always a good thing to be someone's inspiration... But you're a good builder, a good video editor and not a bad driver, you deserve more views than you're getting. Yeah, the drift project is brilliant I watched it while building my tl01. Also, I like it when you have a music track playing when you've sped up the video, more of the music please!

Could you set a wider aperture on your camera? It will help with the autofocus problems.
@RCProjects10 жыл бұрын
Hi there, I don't think I can do that on my camera because its really basic. Its just your simple point and click camera. I should be getting a proper video camera soon so the focus will be much quicker. Thanks for the tip though and for watching.

Very late to ask this but I hope you can help me quick. I own a Tamiya TT01-E chassis. I already installed a Tamiya Super Stock RZ motor, a Tamiya heat sink and HPI T-Drift tires. I plan to buy the Yeah Racing Alu Conversion Kit and a Yeah Racing diff locker. Is there something else I need or am I fine to go then?
@RCProjects7 жыл бұрын
I assume that you have got a bearing kit installed already. I can't think of anything else. You're setup sounds good to go. You may need to replace the dogbone/drivecup setup if some suspension chatter occurs. I have a set by 3Racing and now the driveline is super smooth.

RCProjects thanks for the answer. What do you mean with bearing? I thought the YR kit was for making the parts better/smoother and also contains bearings. I only got the stuff already in that I mentioned above, the rest is stock pre-build so I think I do not have custom bearings. If I use the YR kit, are bearings in it or do I need something else? Cause you do not have other stuff than I would have with the kit (except ecs/servo) in your Ep7 parts list.

Ah, OK. I wasn't sure whether you had done anything to your TT01 already. Yes, you do get all the bearings you need in the Yeah Racing kit.

Thanks for commenting again. I know there is some cheap brushless stuff out there, but for a beginner drifter, brushed was a good starting place. If I was to enter competitions, then I would consider it, but there aren't any really where I live. I may go brushless in the future but for now, I'm happy with what I have. Thanks for the feedback, it is much appreciated. =)

What is the plastic piece called that goes from the servo horn to the steering linkage? I've got a tt01 in bits waiting to be restored, but i don't know that piece name lol Thanks, JACster
@RCProjects8 жыл бұрын
I don't know what the technical name for it is either. I would assume it's called the 'Servo Arm'.
@jacktennent86008 жыл бұрын
RCProjects ok thanks, i'll look for that!

The GPM steering turnbuckle set I got is really good. Gives you some easy adjustability. The servo horn needed a bit of modifying but the set allows for movement in the steering system, putting less strain on the servo. If you want a link, let me know.

+RCProjects it's all aluminium already but can' t steer because of that part. thanks anyways 😁
