Sometime try to use your welder to cut your throttle cable. Weld cut, no frayed cable.

If you guys don’t like the “ape hanger” position, you could try turning the gooseneck to the rear. This would push the handle bars back and down a bit. Please ...at least throw a couple of sheets of cardboard on the floor, anything would be better on your knees than plain concrete (just one old guys opinion).
