Its funny how there is so much more involved than just simple mounting a back axle to your already existing huffy. I'm sure people underestimate that when they buy this product. Excellent idea on putting this video out for the novice motorized trike builder.

I bought one of these and love it. I could have easily built one from scratch but Ben's kit saved me the headache of welding and sourcing parts (I'm stationed in Germany). It is sooo much fun. I have the same motors on a mountain bike and on a BMX bike. If you maintain them, they will last. I have over 3000 miles on my first one (mountain bike). I've only replaced the spark plug once and the intake and exhaust gaskets. Of course, I'm a gear head at heart and maintain all my motorcyles and quads religiously.

if you would be a true gearhead welding should be no headache ;) ive got the welding fever since more then 10yrs..making everything yourself is so much better then buying any premade kits..(saving money as well)

deweys exactly what I was thinking, I've been seeing nice ones and ones that look just like this on Facebook Marketplace for like $800-$1000 and these are full trikes with the Predator engines. I mean it's one thing to try to make a profit and earn a living but it's another to just try and rob the hell out of people who don't have the tools or brains to build one themselves.

Lol you can make it legal...insurance is not required registration would be and adding turn signals and brakes is as easy as a few solder connections and a battery. Thats a real POS built mine for about 50$ people through out side shaft lawnmowers all the time found a Beach cruzer 15 $cut it down made a great motor mount out of some 1 inch sqaure tubbing the motor was a Briggs&Straton 6.5 horse bought a sin trifcal clutch at a fleamarket 5 bucks made safer foot pegs so you don"t have your legs in danger of when your drifting to fall off those cheap pegs Got my wheel at Harbor Freight three dollars a peice sprocket off the thrown away lawn mower shaft was 5/8 inch welded some brackets to hold the sprocket in place . Took me a day to welder up and the motor do"es not smoke like yours do"s espacially the price they want for it is like 1700.00$ can build a nas car set of those for that price.
