Looks good, I didn't want the Large as I felt it was too big for my needs but I'm interested in the medium after watching this. Cheers

The mediums a good size especially if your lacking in some space at camp.

I have the medium, too. It's great for us (2ppl) and packs nice and light. (as our gazebo was taking too much room) Good buy.

There a great tarp for sure. Wish they where around years ago.

Another great review Phil. We bought the large tarp for the 2 of us, but we like the extra space etc..

Thanks Pete, I had 20 people under the large tarp for Christmas Day lunch

You shouldn’t have to make up new guy ropes for the four corners. The Hexa tarp should be supplied with guy ropes that are the correct length to enable you to set up the tarp as is instructed on the Drifta website (KZbin video). I would be hitting Drifta up for the correct length guy ropes, and a replacement for the one that didn’t have an adjustment tab, as well.

Its ok, i use a oztent rope in its place.
@markmay184 Жыл бұрын
@@PhilsCampingReviews of course you did, otherwise you wouldn’t have been able to set it up properly. That’s the whole point mate, you should be able to set it up with the guy ropes provided, and not have to use some other kit to do it. It might be ok in your backyard with ready supply of guy ropes of different sizes. Some other bugger out in the bush goes to set it up for the first time and finds he’s up …. creek without a paddle. Because the supplied guy ropes are too short, and another one is defective

Medium might be a good one to take on my tinnie for trips with the family

Great rundown on the hexatarp. Do you have any issues with condensation underneath? I have found it to be a problem and looking for a solution.
@PhilsCampingReviews3 жыл бұрын
Not really. It's often very windy when I use the Hexa tarp and never had so much condensation underneath that it drips.

@@PhilsCampingReviews thanks for the feedback. I'll see what else I can do to improve things.

@@stuartcunneen7842 I don’t know if there is much you can do about condensation under the tarp if the conditions are right.

How much shade cover would you say it gives, we have family of 4.
@PhilsCampingReviews2 жыл бұрын
It will cover your family with no issues. I can’t recall of hand the coverage area, but it’s in another video I filmed on it in a park.

Looks great Phil, I think you get paid off you tube if the adds get played so you might want to ask your subscribers if they don’t mind. I’m not sure you can’t quote me on that but I think that’s how it works. Cheers
@PhilsCampingReviews3 жыл бұрын
True, you do get paid, as long watchers watch the adds and not skip them.
