i would love for you to make a video going over the build and how you did it, im wanting to go boosted on my car but there are so little videos on the e39 and its honestly terrifying being that this is my first time doing any of this, im particularly interested in how you setup the ecu

@@suspect- I know right, I have the same car just an 03. I’ve learned a lot about doing it like pluming and stuff because of the e46 having the same engine and everyone turbos those but I want to know how to do everything else

@@satvikarora5813 yeah I know it’s risky but at 400hp it should hold with no problems for years my buddy has a e46 330 and he’s only put arp head studs in it and put a new oem head gasket and he’s been fine for three years now around 520whp

Thanks dude! Yeah it seems really healthy and happy at this boost level, I have bought a boost controller so I'll turn it up a bit, and I've bought a spare engine that I'll build in the background and swap it when this engine dies 👍

@@satvikarora5813 Ahh you meant that one, it's an M54B25 aswell, plans have changed and I haven't actually built it yet, but the plan is to do ARP head studs, coopering headgasket, maybe some stronger rods and some smaller stuff aswell 👍

Hi, great car man, How has it held up? How much was the turbo build in total? Also what would be the weight when you strip out stuff? But not for a drift car, street car maybe.

Hey! Car has held up great! In the progress of building an angle kit and a double caliper adapter! Not sure how much I've spent on it, and I'm not sure I want to know 😂 Way too much probably And I'm not sure what the weight of it is, my plan is to weigh it this summer to see what it weighs!

It's not a turbo kit, but it's a Garrett Gt2871R with a pretty standard turbo manifold, Maxxecu Race, 1300cc injectors and running E85

@@TendyGaming I have a 2000 528i Msport that I'm in the process of fitting a turbo kit. It's unopened and I only plan to run about 7psi, It's a really tidy car that I want to not kill but still have a bit more power and fun with it.

Ah that's sick! M52B28 I assume? You could probably double that boost without a single issue, do you have an instagram or something so I can follow your project?
