Thanks. Absolutely, do the Feed the Beast mod. I purchased the new, all in one, braided stainless steel FTB kit and it was worth every penny of the $75 - $80 I spent on it. It took all of an hour to install. Easy. Total improvement in overall power, acceleration and lack of "fish-biting".

As I learned after I bought the truck, the 6.5L TD was an option for the 1500s, only found on about 0.6% of them. Pretty rare.

I have appr. 192,000 mi. on the truck and it feel likes it's just breaking in. I hope to keep it for 500,000+, if I can. Until it drops! The biggest issue is the stock PMD / FSD location on the engine. If you look at some of my other videos, you'll see that I did a relocation of the PMD to the front grill. BIG difference! You'll also note some other videos showing me clearing the incoming fuel and return lines. Got pretty gummy after all those years! Do the OPS, Fast Idle and Feed Beast mods.

Nice drift action. How hard/easy was to install the feed the beast mod? I have a 98 Chevy K2500 with the 6.5 F code engine. Was wanting to do this mod to my rig.

Chevy had an option for a 6.5 in their half tons.

If you don't mind me asking, how many miles are on your truck? I'm looking at a 94 6.5 K2500 that's got 266,400. And it's gonna be my first truck but I was making sure It's gonna last me another 100-150,000 miles.. And have you come across any common issues for the time you've had the truck?
