When it first went up there was a clip of Oka-chan driving it, then the next run Adam drove it with Oka-chan in the passenger and was super stoked about him being able to drive the car so well. HKS probably didn't want some of that footage to go live because of the prototype parts they were testing that day.

@@Jaszczur-sp2tx the past is just that. The past... We also dropped 2 nuclear bombs on them, I think that covers it. My great grandfather died over there in WW2, as did thousands upon thousands of Japanese. We all learned a lot from that war. But holding a grudge shouldn't be one of them.

Absolutely awesome vid! Love the longer style too. I really admire your ability to take your time and learn each car. The HKS car is nuts bug def feel like you were at home with the less race car’d S15. Those JDM parts stores are def the coolest too. Love the friendly/ family feel of all the Japan vids!

Aw man I miss up garage! I lived in Japan for 3 years. Brought back a hippo sleek Dpad bumper (among other goodies) for my s14. Almost certain it was the only one in socal, and I got it for like $200! You got to hang with some pretty significant historical people there man. Incredible.

Adam I love it when you come to Australia & Japan coz you just seem to lose all inhibitions & drive like a madman & I just damn love it. Even though you've left Oz & hit Japan it still feels like Oz due to U hanging with Sam & I assume his girlfriend who was doing the outside the car filming & she's an Aussie too mite look Japanese but she is what we call a fairdinkum Aussie & Adam she is also bloody good with the camera. Adam from what I have seen, the octane ratings in Japan are basically the same as the US but they just use a different scale than we do. They use RON ratings and we use AKI in the US. A 95 RON rating in Japan is equivalent to the US 91 octane

PossIBle SPoiLER ALert...!word is , that HKS will build 2 cars for LZ next year if he does allright in FD , at least makes top 5 at the end of the season, then they will have to work out the deal of profit splitting and do a contract . Lz has the talent , he just needs a top top knotch car to really compete with the big boys , hes shown a full set of big ol balls rolling hard on the fd top pros so he may be up for grabs next season by some serious companies .. not that his build is slack by any means , but , if you really want to mess with vaughn and chelsea and forz ect ect and the rest of them guys , you gotta have the best. the enjuku build he did is great but he fights the steering non stop and I dont see any answers for that problem yet , plus he has 1 car , if it gets whacked its over. . Cant wait to see what plays out in FD .

I went to that UpGarage too and it was closed for Children's day :( Right before going to it I tried to go another one and it was a motorcycle upgarage. Unlucky day that took up an entire day of travelling by train. Oh well, just gives me a reason to go back
