After tons of research, I see this method has serious problems. Any idea why I can take a working animation form my game folder and open it with effekseer, make no changes and save in that same game folder with a modified file name and now it does not work? I understand the process is buggy, but I made no changes, and the file paths are the same. Any help would be appreciated.

Some animations just won't work no matter what, it can be frustrating. I would check the file path on all the resources just to be sure.

same , i can load my test project in effekseer , and rpgm mz can see the created file , but there is no graphic being displayed just a black screen....

Hey everyone! So this is unrelated the the video but I was hoping someone could help me... I have a gender and class select for a game that changes the appearance of the player... there are 2 genders and 6 classes so 12 possible looks. But I also have dialogue in game as well... is there an easy way to make the face match what the player chose? Or do I just have to give out hidden keys and conditional branches and wright every dialogue 12 times with the different faces? 🤦‍♂️ This is for mv by the way...

Pretty much you'll have to just do the work. The more complex you want it to be the more time and effort it will take to make it work right. With all things like this, every new option you want to add, you have to code(event) all the possible outcomes. Perhaps narrow your scope to the best 6 options?

Yes, it can be tricky to get it all working just right, but you can use particle animations from MZ in your MV project (if it has been properly converted to an MZ project). TLDR you have to ditch all the mv plugins and for mz ones.

is it possible make an infinite effect (chosing the infinite option) so it's permanent and then remove it after an event or after some minutes or seconds?

Can you change the color of the animation? I'm trying to make an Acid effect by taking a Water animation and turning it green, but I can't seem to find the option on how to do so like in RPG Maker MV.

You might be forced to open the animation in Effekseer (if that's possible) and manually make it green somehow, saving it as a separate animation.

Honestly I really dislike MZ's animation system. MV's and prior games' ones felt much easier to use than this.
