I've been watching a bunch of your videos now and I've been getting more confident on starting my own business watching each video. So far i've been just working on my own car to get my skill up. Then in the future work on family/friends cars as soon as i get all my basic detailing products/tools. Then put myself out there to the public. The drill with the brush attachment looks like a good tool to clean the doors and seats/carpet a lot faster. I may have to add this to my detailing arsenal. Thank you so much for all in the info you put out there.

What would be a good non chlorine cleaner to clean the seat belts? I have a 07 Monte Carlo that the seat belts are pretty dirty, and no matter what I try to clean them with, it doesn't seem to help ... and I've heard not to use any bleach or chlorine products as that will deteriorate/weaken the seat belt.

Is this drill brush really gentle enough for leather? The bristles look quite thick and hard.
@wilsonautodetailing6 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t use it for leather seating but not because the bristles are too hard, it would be a little dangerous seeing as you might scuff the leather with the backing plastic of the drill brush

HEy will I learned a lot from your vids, and now I think I'm doing well with exterior detailing, using a D.A AND ALL. I'M thinking of learning on how to detail my cabin but I'm kinda wondering is it safe to use degreaser on some interior parts of my car? I read somewhere that degreaser is use on under chassis and engine bay. I would like to clean my all messed up headliner .
@wilsonautodetailing6 жыл бұрын
Hey Mitchell, I use super clean degreaser diluted 5:1 on almost every single area of the interior of a car, excluding the windows and navigation screen, and it will work well on headliner

Hi I took my chances and followed your advice to use a degreaser for my headliner while keeping in mind some tips that I saw in one of your video about cleaning headliners . The result was amazing I never thought that I would be able to see it back on it's former glory. The more I learn the less I know lols Any way I would like to ask a simple question, hope you can enlighten me on this one. Whats the difference between an APC diluted for interior cleaning and a dedicated interior cleaner. My assumption is that apc is stronger and chemical based, while dedicated interior cleaner is milder and orange base.

Most dedicated interior cleaners have UV protection and a APC does not..that’s the only difference I can think of:)

When you drill, it's usually less than one minute. Try and clean something that you use the drill continuously for 10 minutes. It's a good idea but the drill is ergonomically wrong for cleaning that put your hand in a wrong position. I would invest $30 more for a proper rotary scrubber.
@9fade6862 жыл бұрын
Lmao that’s it?? “Omg people so what I’m saying is if I use a drill brush it might make my hand feel uncomfortable. we need to take this so seriously. like literally. Who wants their hand feeling uncomfortable in the wrong position for 60 seconds??? That’s just like…. Not even ok. So let me use a hand scrubber for 10 minutes because my brain tells me this is ergonomically the right way.” 🫣
@raymondchow87222 жыл бұрын
@@9fade686 I have 2 questons: 1. what have you ever thoroughlky cleaned with a drill brush? 2. How often do you use such thing? Not saying drill brushes are not cool. I am saying it's something I hate to use and there are simpler and easier tools to use in its place.
