Had mine for 17yrs and resharpened a lot of expensive and cheap bits for myself and our small shop! Like most machinist tools, you’ll get great results if you learn how the machine works along with how to use it and practice on a cheap small and large bit to get the “feel” of it.

Sharpened hundreds of bits, might try flipping the wheel someday if it stops sharpening so good.

This video was very informative I picked up one that had no instructions and I had no clue did as they said and I saved about 400 dollars worth of bits

Just got one 2nd hand off ebay - like new, for a very good price. Made a complete b0II0x of a 5/8" morse drill, 1st time. There is a bit of a learning curve - I was forcing the chuck into the sharpening port - no need, you just turn it in there, and let the diamonds do the work. Getting good results now.

Had the DD750SP for probably 20 years, complete waste of money. I've watched the video and KZbin several times an never been able to sharpen a bid. I have a friend who has the same model he's told me he has the same problem. I'm sure there must be something we are doing wrong or maybe we have defective units. I'm not that talented but I can do better on a grinding wheel my hand. Save your money learn to do it by hand.
