People with no exposure to the military: "Fix your hat it's crooked" "This looks easy idk why people say it's hard" Air Force (or any branch) JROTC/ROTC cadets, active duty airmen, and veterans: "👁👄👁 first off it's sposed to be that way, secondly get your butt over here and learn this and perform it, then tell me that it's easy" also thanks man imma AFJROTC cadet planning on enlisting as a Flight Nurse but this helped a lot cause imma a mentor and I have a hard time explaining these to my mentee lol also with the right step you called a tweener - you call *flight halt* when heels are together

Dario Angel its something you have to get used to. No one is perfect at it at first. My tip is to do the motion backwards so you find your footing. Helped me alot. Sorry if it doesn't really make sense, i cant explain it that easily.

Imma AF Junior ROTC cadet and we've been told that at present arms, the commander can stay at " present arms" while commanding "order arms" because "Present Arms" is a modified version of attention. But parade rest you have to go back to attention before commanding
