I have a massive playlist of your videos - some of which I've watched more than once while working - and every time you upload something, it really brightens my day! I love having you on in the background while I'm working on my tablet, it's a huge comfort. Your positivity feels so incredibly genuine and coming from such a place of love and knowing, it really feels so sincere. Between your kind, meaningful and impactful speeches that you start each video off on, your calm, comforting tone, your thoughtful commentary during your playthroughs, the little jokes you sprinkle in, and your eagerness to spotlight a wide range of developers; all with their own interesting style, you've easily become one of my favorite horror game youtubers! I recommend you to literally anyone of my friends, and I'm always excited to see whatever you end up doing next. Keep on keeping on!

I used to work nights at a [insert hardware store chain]. Once we weren't making our quotas so they cut our time as punishment and threatened to start write ups. Imagine that, instead of trying to find ways to incentivize us to work harder (we were already overworked and understaffed), they put the screws to us. I think thats why this kind of horror game appeals to me personally. Its really not that separated from reality. It makes me feel like people get how that kind of grunt work really turns into stressful frantic sprints to keep up.

It reminds me of an adult addressing someone quite young, and I respect the fact he is spreading positivity in a way that accounts for the fact this is the internet, where younger people may be watching things not appropriate for their age, or someone young that just needs words of encouragement from SOMEWHERE, although his pre game pep talks are definitely something an adult can (and this adult DOES) appreciate. i don’t usually do things while watching your videos, because i like to be fully immersed in the experience :) i like to cuddle up with my cats or have a snack i went out of the country for the first time over the summer and i spent one of those nights under the covers watching your voyager video. i was homesick and wasn’t sleeping well, but i had a special experience that day and it became a very fond memory of mine :3 as far as my interpretation of the message, i saw it as symbolism for the way american labor systems work, especially with things that are mined, farmed, or extracted. american corporations deploy americans into other countries to run labor systems for american products. the laborers are payed very little and treated very poorly, but to the american consumer we’re just getting fed a product that we want to pay for (think outsourcing to mexico for manufacturing or the congo’s banana production or mines in other parts of africa or the middle east). to play into this games metaphor, major american corporations are the government, the employees the drill operators, the laborers the diggers, and the consumer gets spoils from the war. thanks for always looking out for your audience and providing a wonderful experience as always, i hope you have a lovely day! please give pumpkin and chester some pets for me :3

Regarding the start of the video - I had a friend a few years back who always took photos of me, no matter what we were doing (we have since drifted apart). One day, we had been talking about something - I don’t remember what - and I had brought up the fact I was insecure about my appearance, mainly my face. She pulled up one of the many pictures she had taken of me. “No, you don’t look ugly!”, she told me. “I showed this photo of you to my aunt and she said you look pretty.” I replied with something along the lines of, “Damn, she must have bad taste in women then.” She looked at me, then said “No, you don’t get it. My aunt used to work with and photograph models.” I still think about that moment several years later, whenever I am feeling down about how I look.
