Drilling in Ethiopia Episode 2 | Leaving Addis Ababa and Experiencing an Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony

So we are finally leaving Addis Ababa and heading 2.5 hours out of the city for the village of Bantu. From here we will be staging our drilling mission for the week. When we arrived and settled into the dorms we were invited to join an Ethiopian coffee ceremony. They welcomed us to join them with coffee, popcorn, wat, and injera. This was the beginning of our 6 days drilling water wells in the surrounding area and tomorrow we finally begin our work.

It's great! the tough part is that they mostly take place in the late evening...and they will keep serving it until its gone...next thing you know its 3am and you are still awake!
