A great switch up in the delivery that is superb ! The analysis aspect, and highlights within the video is very great and puts impetus on the showcase as the viewer watches along and answers outstanding questions. Ethiopia 🇪🇹 has several layers to it and so do all African countries and it is imperative that the aspect of history is on the forefront. The history, that 🏰, the resorts , you brought all that full circle ⭕️ and painted a great picture of Ethiopia 🇪🇹. I did not know of those castles 🏰 either . The religious aspect is synonymous with them and you emphasized that greatly as that is a major part of their identity . It is all worth noting that 🇪🇹 is the only African country that was never colonized !!! Exactly they annihilated the Italians at the battle of Adwa in 1896 and the rest is history . Their physical mountainous terrain attributed to the victory not to mention they were great soldiers. On Ethiopian Airlines, I once met an American 🇺🇸 Pilot working for them, I was at Dulles Airport and was surprised. He told me they pay very well. That speaks to how well versed their network of global operations is. They have a lot of international pilots on board , their global footprint is second to that of EMIRATES, but their customer service is below par ! Anyway Ethiopia is a great place I can see, I just cannot get past their immigration . I went through Addis once and DONE ✅!! I stick to London as my connection point. African countries Kenya 🇰🇪 included need to change how they treat other Africans coming to tour. A friend told me he would rather travel to Dubai and holiday than Kenyan or an African country to be treated poorly by immigration. It’s food for thought 💭for our authorities . Cheers 🥂 man ! Good job 👍🏾

Great video Tayo. It is sooo good to see West Africans traveling and staying in East Africa especially in the Horn of Africa. Ethiopians practice the oldest form of Christianity in Africa and how they worship and see the religion is how it was done in ancient times. Very different from modern forms of Christianity even amongst other Africans who're Christians. As a Muslim, I have far more in common with their form of worship than I do with Westerners who practice Christianity. Ethiopia was the first African nation to accept, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam by choice and not via some form of conquest or violence. This is what makes Ethiopia such a special place.
@Stonbreas3 жыл бұрын
To be honest, the way we practice Christianity is not that ancient. Its about 200 to 300 years old when the derivative deacons books came which basically formed a tree branch off of the bible and expanded it to 44 saints which all have their own churches and followings.
@kidistabraham15283 жыл бұрын
@@Stonbreas bro, you must be from a protestant background or you don't have the slightest idea about Christians and what they believe because you are so ignorant of The Church's history. FIRST, the term "44 tabot" comes from the fact at some point there were 44 churches in Gondar. So when people swear they used to say "by the 44 tabots" and now it is a thing. It doesn't imply that we only honor 44 saints and archangels. SECOND, honoring saints have nothing to do with altering the bible and it was a very ancient practice by our fathers. You can see ancient monasteries like Axum and also refer to the 7th ecumenical council. (actually, you should refer to all 7 councils as you really seem like you need it). THIRD, FOR the love of GOD, can you tell me where you heard about this "deacons deriving something from the bible 200 to 300 years ago and expanded it to 44 saints" ? What does it even mean??

@@kidistabraham1528 what ever you said it’s not biblical
@kidistabraham15283 жыл бұрын
@@mercym1733 Well, don't you think it is somehow absurd to argue that an incident that happened after the bible is not mentioned in the bible? And what makes you think that ትውፊት, the oral transmission of the Christian teaching passed from the apostles, is less legit than the written bible? Who do you think compiled the 66 books you believe in?. How did you even make sure there are only 66 books while there is nowhere in the bible that talks about how many books there are. From where do you think you find the fact on how the apostles became a martyr when there is no mention in the bible? Can you show me one place on the bible that refers to GOD as "trinity"? Where in the bible do you find that Sunday is the sabbath day? How do you even interpret the bible or know the context of each word? The CHURCH gathered the books, filtered out the righteous ones based on her ትውፊት, and compiled the Bible around the 4th century. We know about all the things mentioned above that are not clearly written on the bible because we have ትውፊት. We know how to interpret the Bible because we have ትውፊት, not just some random man that interprets the bible by himself and we follow. (this is the reason why we have around 45,000 protestant domination in the world today) Don't you think that you have to read the history of the bible if you really believe in it? Or just wonder sometimes where did it come from? I didn't write all this just for the case or arguing, I am just hoping there is some curiosity in you.

I cannot wait to visit and learn about the history. I heard that a lot of Jamaicans 🇯🇲 are living in Ethiopia. I also heard that there is a big Rastafarian 🇯🇲 community somewhere in Ethiopia.

So ironic that you're Nigerian visiting one Africa's most ancient towns and wearing a T-shirt that says 'Los Angeles - California' 🙂 I would love to visit Gondar one day. Just before the pandemic I went to Lalibela and visited all 12 of the amazing churches. The architecture completely blew me away as did the breath-taking landscape. I stayed at Mountain View hotel which had amazingly beautiful views of the mountains from my room. The traditional music and dance is spectacular and the people, both men and women are so naturally graceful and elegant. Addis is cool. The National Museum is incredible and houses the oldest skeleton on earth - Lucy. Also the Ethio-jazz clubs are amazing (which you'll massively enjoy if you like musicians like Astatke Mulatu 🤩) and it's also very interesting to see the headquarters of the African Union, which makes Addis thee Afropolitan centre in Africa. I would really love the chance to go back and work there. I know a young Nigerian guy who worked for the UN in Addis for 3 years and he absolutely loved it.

work in airlines it's international level company they might step few ppl aside and question them Dont think is big deal Just respect the authorities and follow through their commands If ur good they let you go Just want they work

I am assuming, since Ethiopian airlines is the biggest airline and destination toots every year they busted many drug traffickers right now there are over hundreds Nigerian and South America in prisons in Ethiopia so always the airport officials focus on more Nigerians and Brazilians .we don’t blame them Cos those roots are hot . There for this guy got same treatment I believe.
