Hi guys, good to see your well and what a lovely Tim/Claudia video. Always a bonus when Tim's chatting away too. Its great that you have been so busy, gotta keep the cashflow going but sorry to hear that JoJo has had some unpleasant issues that are no doubt worring you all. Tell her not to let it knock her confidence, or any of your confidencies, your a tight family. Claudia, Winter Wheat is a very common corn crop here in the uk, and along with spring Barley and Oil Seed Rape, that makes up a staple rotation here. Stay safe you guys 🙂🙂🙂

Just a quick note on milk processing: homogenization is a high pressure process which breaks down the fat particles thereby allowing them to stay in suspension, ie. no cream rising to the top of the bottle; pasteurization is the process of heating milk to kill bacteria. Great video planting wheat with your father!

I drove 4 hours to see the Pumpkin Patch and I brought my Mom who loves stuff like that...It was a beautiful fall day and we had a great time...Not creepers...Just wanted to show our support for what you all do...Got to meet JoJo and Mama Pumpkin Patch...Good to see you all back but totally understand how busy you are this time of year...
@purplerunner17153 жыл бұрын
Homogenization of milk is to reduce the size of fat monocles in the milk so that the milk had a homonymous feel to it. It also makes the milk look more white, because of the smaller fat monocles reflects the light in a different way then normal milk. The process is done with a high pressure filtering system. Side effect is that it removes a lot of good taste from the milk. Pasteurization is a heat treatment of the milk to kill off any harmful bacteria in the milk, example Denmark it's illegal to sell unpasteurized drinking milk. Minimum requirement is at least 72 C heat for at least 15 seconds in the process. Just to be clear, none of the 2 processes adds any water to the milk at all.

Henry Ford's son Edsel died from drinking unpasteurized milk.
@RealLimerickman3 жыл бұрын
@@johnnycomelately5914 People die from water. Do we ban water?.. He died from a cow who was infected with a bad strain of bacteria which transfered to the milk. Miss the cow sickness and it transfered to the milk. We the poor in modern times have far better standards and better education than the ultra rich in Henry Ford times.
@vk2ig3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the explanation. I remember we had bottled homogenised milk all the time when I was a kid. But, my grandma always bought pasteurised milk - this had cream at the top, which was great if you were the first to start a new bottle of milk, as you got cream on your rice bubbles (rice krispies in the USA) for breakfast!
@mauriceupton14743 жыл бұрын
The reason for pasteurization of milk is due partly to early inconsistencies with milk distribution by unscrupulous individuals. Milk normally can be kept for days unrefrigerated, if handled correctly...this was not always the case with mass distribution unfortunately. NB. The best cheeses are still made and sold today using unpasteurized milk.

Pasteurizing is when you Heat up the milk to a certain temperature to kill any bacteria and then cool it back down and keep it refrigerated henceforth. I'm not sure but I think shortly after it's pasteurized it is ran through a separator to reduce the cream content from Whole to 2%, 1%, and skim. Then forced through a small orifice at high pressure to break down the butterfat content so it stays suspended and Incorporated with the other elements of the milk,"Homogenized". Otherwise you would have cream coming to the top like you do with raw milk.

Y'all will really like the GPS once you get used to it. It helps a lot, not just for planting but even working the ground ahead of planting is better. Using it when working the ground before planting, you'll find that you save time and fuel because you don't overlap as much and you'll make less trips through the field. The farmer I work for has had it in all his tractors that either plant the crops or work the ground for a lot of years now and we wouldn't be without it.

Homogenisation. This involves pushing the raw milk through an atomiser to form tiny particles so the fat is dispersed evenly. Think of it as pumping raw milk through a pressure washer, it just breaks up the milk fats so they are mixed and don't rise to the top of the bottle. Hope that helps explain it better for you to understand.

Hello, I'm new. I'm your neighbor from ct. 😋 I enjoy see how farms work. I like to grow fruit and veggies but I had very bad year sadly. I feel bugs and Disease are getting worse every year. My pumpkin patch got attacked by bore worms from mouths.

Tim should start having pancake breakfasts on Saturday or Sunday mornings where pilots could land on the grass strip and have breakfast. There's no way I'd drive 6 hours to go to a pumpkin patch, but many pilots don't need much of an excuse to fly a few hours just to have a destination where they can grab breakfast. Pilots do that all the time. It would be a great place to go this time of the year with the foliage etc.. It sure would add to Tim's bottom line too.
@vk2ig3 жыл бұрын
Pilots do that ... I've seen a few videos where someone has flown 45 minutes or so to go to breakfast or lunch. Imagine that: have breakfast somewhere different and add at least an hour and a half to your logbook!

GerDay Claudia, I'm kinda here, courtesy of Laura Farms...... except I doubt very much that she even knows I watch her and Grant's clips, Erin's clips and, of course, Zac's. I really enjoy seeing how the way y'all farm compares to us antipodeans .... although I'm not a farmer .... I service the farming/rural communities Downunder as a long distance truck driver! I'm also old enough to be grandfather to probably the whole lot of you, so I have a very different perspective on many things that all y'all. I'm just about to hit the sack, so I'm just using this clip as a "subscribe and bell ringer" and I'll come by and listen tomorrow! You see, I don't really "watch" per se .... I set the computer and EweChube to just play a play list, so I can almost never comment, as I listen "on the run"!!!! From what I've "seen" (heard) so far, I think I'm gonna enjoy y'all! Kindest regards Indy

You're right. You just need 2 party consent in NY to record audio over the phone. I believe she was talking about doing video on her land, which she not only can record and make videos, but she can restrict others from doing so. It's their business and they can make the rules. Walmart has cameras everywhere, but try walking inside a Walmart with a camera. You'll be told to shut it off or leave. If you don't, you'll be trespassed.

You absolutely can film anyone who is in the Public View! It’s not illegal! You only need to inform you’re recording. Make a sign white with black lettering saying video and audio recording in progress in this area and you are covered legally. If they don’t want to it’s their responsibility to move. You have the Constitutional Right to film anyone doing anything in public! Tim I understand what you’re saying about creeps! I have wonderful Daughters like you! Keep looking out for them! God Bless you Guy’s I love you all !!! ❤️🇺🇸🖖🏼
@johnnycomelately59143 жыл бұрын
NY is a "two party consent" state, and you are right, you need to inform you're recording, but only over the telephone. You can both video and audio record anyone in public, including interactions with police. KZbin restricts music due to copyright violations. In a "one party consent" state. you can record audio over the phone, because one party (you) knows you are doing it.
