Also two other things about cars, the gas gauge wont show gas unless key is in the ignition(thats why you had so much in the taxi after thinking it was empty) and there is an icon above the speedometer you can use to unlock trunks if you have access to the car but the trunk is locked.

28:08 you have a rare instance of the key being in the ignition and the car having gas. All you needed to do was start it and drive 😝

I know this is older but i didn't see a comment about it. The red car you syphoned gas from to put in the taxi right next to it because you knew you had the taxi key, had the key in the ignition. You've probably already learned since this is 6 months old, but do check a cars ignition for keys, as sometimes they were left in there. Awesome series!!

Hi Dr. Good episode today. You can sometimes find a car´s key in the contact. In fact, you did today, although I think you didn´t realise. The small red car from wich you siphoned gas today had the key on the contact. You can see it at about 27:55 on the video. To find farming items, you´ll probably have to get out the city into more rural areas. You can always find something everywhere, but it´s much more rare. You are getting more confident in fighting, but take into consideration that you are wielding one of the most powerful weapons in the game, the machete. When, eventually, it gets broken, you´ll have to use less effective weapons, so you may wish to start using other weapons to level up your combat skill with those kinds. Another thing that you may have to watch, now that you are in late early game, is your weight. Usually you have to be cautious about the things you eat to keep your weight in healthy ranges. If you drop from 75 kilos, you will get negative traits from underweight, that will hugely affect your strenght and combat skills. You will soon need to clean a gas station area, so when electricity eventually goes out, you have a steady supply of gas both for your car and generator. You´ll need a working fridge to keep food fresh, more so when you start farming. As always, excuse me for that bit of backsitting and feel free to tell me when I get really annoying. Best regards.

I love these tips! Thank you! My next plan is to check out the Walmart. Then--gas station and maybe farms for seeds etc. Yeah, I love the machete. I have 2 of them! Hopefully they last a long time haha ;D I have a katana, too, but it's 2 handed so I'd have to not use my offhand bag.

The Riverside Suites are my favourite base in the game. There's the qualifier that since there's no reasonable medium between zombies being able to destroy everything and destroying nothing that I turn off zombies being able to damage your structures. With a sledgehammer you can knock down the walls if you so wish though if you play multiplayer you can give everyone their own room. There's river access and there's a stretch of trees just to the northwest alongside the riverbank that you can use as log walls to secure it. Only downside is that the pool can't be used to refill watering cans and the water is considered tainted. Only realized long after the fact that I basically copied The Walking Dead.

Canoe paddle one of my favorite weapons, amazing range can hit 3 zombies at once and pretty good durability, it is two handed but amazing for clearing out big groups. Also very surprised your power is still on, have you modified any of the settings?

Ohh, nice tip on the canoe paddle as a weapon! That sounds fun haha. I am playing on the default "Survivor" Settings--all I changed was to start at 5AM iirc.

29:07- was this meant to be in one of your MTG videos, or is it something tongue in cheek? "Spearwall" sounds like an effect in an MTG game, as does "end on turn".
