The artificial taste of it isn't that pleasant for me. That said, I heard that it was created so you could drink flavoured stuff while in a formal setting without making the other party feel inferior with his plain bottle of mineral water. Or hide it if your office doesn't allow sweet drinks or something. I'm not sure if it's true.

"Crystal Pepsi, the clear choice." That was the original tagline for it when it first came out, in 1992. I think it's amazing. It tastes very similar to regular Pepsi, but with a crisper flavor. Lighter. It's more "clean" tasting because it's like the brown caramel-like sauce that gives Pepsi it color. I think you should give it a go if you can get your hands on it.

Crystal Pepsi was / is pretty good actually! It was a 90's ting but they recently brought it back. Not sure if it was a limited release or if it's still out. I only saw it in one store last year.

25 years ago, in Canada, we had a clear soda/pop drink called "Clearly Canadian". It was mostly fruit flavours, IIRC, but it was a good quality drink. If I remember correctly, their Black Cherry flavour was especially good. It went away after a few years, sadly. I miss it.

Great video! If you ever get a chance to try Coca-Cola from Mexico, do it! It is made with real cane sugar and it is delicious. Here in the USA 🇺🇸 our Coca-Cola is made with corn syrup, which is cheap, unhealthy and doesn’t taste as good. I live near Detroit and we have a good amount of Mexican markets, which is where I buy Mexican Coca-Cola and authentic tacos! Safe travels, love your channels

It's not hard to make these drinks. Heston Blumenthal has shown how. If you evaporate and then condense the liquid again, it will retain the flavor. that's how you can have pure clear water with chocolate flavor, for instance.
