Expat in Canada here. Love your videos, mate. I know we Brits like to moan, but you back home have something you need to protect. British pubs are gem. It's history and culture that you can't get anywhere else in the world. It's precious. Please hold on to it!

What a great video from a very friendly and informed chap. This popped up on my feed so did a like and sub. I went to Loughborough Uni in the late 80s and early 1990. We used to go in the Three Nuns (nickname the six tits 😂). I live only about 16 miles from Loughborough now and this video has given me some great ideas for real ale pubs. I have been in the Organ Grinder and Nuns (as above) but not the others from memory. The Nuns is a bit of a rock pub at the weekends.

That’s a great nickname 😂 glad you enjoyed the video and certainly check out the pubs you’ve not been to because they were all great on this crawl! There’s also the white hart which we passed and the moonface brewery tap which are supposed to be good, sadly moonface was shut the weekend we went! 🍻

What a lovely place, you really do showcase the pubs so well. Love the way you give beer flavours and your wife’s toffee stout sounded lovely 😻. See you at the next pub crawl 😂

US homebrewer here. Just stumbled on your YT channel and have already subscribed. What an enjoyable video, wish I was there pub crawling with you. British pubs seem to have such warmth and charm when compared to many of the US bars/pubs which are so sterile by comparison. Cheers!!

Visited Loughborough a few weeks ago for the first time. Made the mistake of going to a student pub - I'm 46. Talk about 'out of place'. Quickly found the Organ Grinder and Wheel Tapper.

Always fascinates me to see all the lovely pubs in England. My grandad was born in London, i live in South Africa. Always felt a draw to Britain and especially the local pub and all the amazing selections of ale. One day maybe, cheers

I live about 8 miles away and have only done about half those Pubs. But I have a ready made pub crawl without having to do any research. The Organ Grinder used to run a Folk Club, as did The Swan in the Rushes the Needle and Pin still does have the odd music night. Really enjoyed the vid and if you visit again see if you can book yourselves on to a tour of the Bell works - well worth it! Agree with the choice of the Needle and Pin - hard to leave when you are in!

all those cask ales drive me insane! i would limit myself to halves so i can try em all without getting tanked after the fourth pint haha. i live in the wrong country. gluten free beers are much better now than several years ago. thanks for not only brief locale histories and pub interiors, but actually talking about the ales. i’ve watched other pub tour videos and they always seem to leave out the beer!

Well, that as a blast from the past. Leeds lad, now living in Texas. I used to do some IT work in offices round the corner from the Swan in the Rushes in the 1990s. I had lunch in the Swan every time I went there. Cracking pub. It doesn’t look like it’s changed a bit. Must be in my top 10 pubs of all time. Thanks for bringing back great memories.

Ayup Ethan. I’m a new subscriber to your channel (roughly a week) and after this episode I’m bang up to date in watching all of your content. What do I think? Brilliant. Your videos are well filmed, edited and presented; you’ve a knack for it mate and I hope you will continue and I hope your channel continues to grow. Also, it’s nice to see Grace becoming more involved, you make a great par. Anyway, I hope I see you around sometime, I’m always in Leeds or York (I’m a Ferrybridge boy, living near Selby). Incidentally I had a cracking Porter in Leeds HoS, Mill Hill, last night - North Brewing ‘Full Fathom 5’ 5.5% coffee coconut porter. It was delicious! Take it easy. Cheers!🤘🏻🍻

Great stuff again and another place to add to the visit list, I shall be having a look over the weekend for somewhere to park the van so we can plan a trip👍 as much as I love a traditional pub I love the fantastic range of micro pubs that have cropped up over the last few years, you get to meet some great owners & locals/visiters who have the same appreciation of great cask ale as we do 🍺 look forward to the next one, cheers 🍻
