This is the drinking water reservoir for the town of Bethlehem New Hampshire located in the northern part of the state, I'm not sure what town this Reservoir is actually in but it is probably about a half an hour drive from the town up a steep hill on Zeeland River, here's an update I made while I was in the area last week. by the looks of it it may have ran dry if we didn't get this recent rain, I'm not sure but the town or towns that possibly use this may have had water restrictions. thanks for watching

the operator using the tree like a huge broom is just proof that if you give people problems and heavy machinery there's a clever solution in there somewhere.

Hey post, I live in southwest Connecticut. I can't tell you how happy I am to have had those rain storms. It had rained for 24 hours straight the other week. Not only does it benefit our forests, but it looks, sounds and feels so damn good.

Good to see the water flowing in the reservoir. Like to see it in the winter and spring. Be neat. Love that operator using the tree as a broom to clean up his mess. Hilarious. Moose said, what are you looking at? Whatever, I'm outta here. Finally got some rain eh? Stay safe.

The thing that you do in your videos that I like is actually something you don't do. So many others who produce videos seem to be obsessed with the idea that the viewers need to see a constant close up image of the speakers face while they are exercising their jaw. Very annoying. Keep doing it as you are. It makes your work more interesting.

Please include in your videos a warning about getting to close to the edge of any dams. Even a small dam could hold someone under if they fell in. I love your videos! I think you have started a small army of rake wielding, drain clearers.

Strange that you had almost the same drought we had in Central Europe. Nearly no rain and extreme heat from June to August and now in September it won't stop raining. Totally weird weather but the rain is much needed. My region is having droughts the third year in a row. So every rain is welcomed. - The rain in the car while driving at the end was so ASMR. I would totally watch 20 minutes of it. So calming.

I am a wtp operator here in northeast georgia and I have to say that gate valve slould be chained and that valve box should have pad locks on it. Now as far as water flow is concerned its actually really no concern that weir keeps the water level at the height for the screen on the ductile iron intake pipe to hold its water level for the water treatment plant to get it full pool level. The plant itself by my judgement couldnt be more that a few hundred thousand gallons a day. The plant at which I work is rated for 3 mgd a day but still is very small. I cant say where I work at due to city policy but if you can figure it out I would be glad and permitted to give an off camera tour of the facility.

only postie could fail to annoy me saying Restorated instead of the simpler restored. heehee, its tempting because you do a restoration who knows if I'm wrong. Its so cool to see a guy in a small but familiar to you place. Seldom do we hear about good old New Hampshire. So scary to see how close to the surface that intake is. Up here by Lake Superior we barely see anything so visible except near Boundary Waters Canoe area. Even South Minn had a technical drought for a while now ok. Thanks for noticing the tiny toads!

We (new England) had an all day soaker that was around 3in everywhere and 5in in the wettest parts. In only lowerrd the drought by 1 stage, which is still good but not finished. I think we are finally getting back to normal with a wet September. Hopefully we get the dregs of a couple of those Atlantic huricanes to finish getting the water levels back to normal without causing noticable damage.

I have learned about "hunger stones" recently. If bigger rivers run low (like this summer) people carved the date into stones you normally do not see in normal years. For many centuries these numbers were warnings of food and water shortages. There is a detailed article on wikipedia about it.
