With AWOLNATION unfortunately coming to an end, I'm thrilled Aaron started The Barbarians of California and is going heavier. I've been a fan since the Home Town Hero days. I hope he tours for both AWOL and BoC.

Dear Johnny, I wanted to say thank you for your videos and all the hard work you put into them, it really shows! I love them and I am slowly catching up. I have one small suggestion, adding chapters to these long interviews could really upgrade the experience for the viewers. My favorite podcast does it and it makes it possible for me to get back to a longer video that I may not be able to watch in one sitting. You are a great interviewer, keep it up, you really know how to keep a conversation interesting and always lean into the vibe and interests of your guests. 🙏

I remember the day I discovered Awolnation. It was May 19th 2011, I was going tmegao see System of a Down live and my ex girlfriends Dad had bought a few CDs the day prior to listen to on the car ride there and the first one he popped in was Megalithic Symphony and man Awolnation has been right there with Avenged Sevenfold as one of my favorite artists ever since. Enjoyed the conversation Johnny, always love to hear Aaron talk on and on about his passions.

I'm not well versed in Awolnation's catalogue but 'Run' is a killer record. I'm looking forward to hearing BoC full release and hopefully moshing to the album. Aaron was correct about Victoria, BC, Canada. Would have ruled to see AWOL and Weezer playing a festival there.

Haven’t watched this video yet but I love Awolnation, and Avenged is my favorite band. But AWOL has been a favorite of mine since Megalithic symphony, Run is my favorite album of theirs. Hope barbarians of California tour sometime. Look forward to watching this one when I have a chance

Buy their records. Both AWOL and BARBARIANS. The barbarians stuff is so good…hard and so listenable.

Almost reminds of the version of Mike Patton in a creative way. I love the side project
