My narcissistic mother being one of them! She was arrested for driving drunk, and spent two weeks in jail. Shortly after being released, she did it AGAIN! And not long after her second stint in jail, she decided it would be a great idea to drive home from a restaurant, drunk off her @$$, with two minor children in the car!!! I call that night, "The Scary Car Ride through Hell." I was scared $hitless that we were gonna crash...then a cop pulled her over...then I got to witness my mother getting arrested and put into the back of a police car...at 11-years-old! Her third DUI got her 6 weeks in jail, mandatory random breathalyzer tests, a suspended license for 7 years, and mandatory AA meetings for 2 years!!! That still didn't stop her, however. It took a drunken motorcycle accident that put her in the hospital for 6 months, with only a 10% chance of survival, to get her to stop driving drunk!!! 😡 She didn't even CARE that I was traumatized from seeing her get arrested, and visiting her in jail...and she didn't even CARE that she knowingly endangered the lives of both me and my sister!!! No Contact with narcissists (like her) is the best policy! Haven't spoken to that crazy b!tch in years!!!

My parents paid for priority boarding because I had major anxiety issues with crowds and the like, let alone being autistic which made the sensory issues worse. On our way into the plane, this one older lady called me a selfish bitch for going on first instead of the elderly. I looked over confused and engaged in conversation with her but she kept going. Ma tried to explain it nicely but she kept insulting us, calling us entitled and selfish for going on first instead of a 'little old lady who's been standing waiting all day'. Dad had to speak up and my god I haven't seen him so rattled. Had to get airport security to get her to leave us alone. I legit had a panic attack because of that woman. Sure it wasn't as violent as Terri but with how bad my sensory issues were, it legit caused me to break like that. I'm 24 now and that's all I remember because I panicked throughout most of it. Just the side effects of raising a nation of children who believe everything bad that happens to them is the fault of society, the Government, their partners, their parents, the past, or pretty much anything but themselves. Parents need to teach children how to take responsibility for their own actions again, and punish them accordingly. The timeout, go to your room culture where kids get to play on their phones or computers for hours as punishment obviously didn't work. Then when they become adults, they never learned how to be responsible, never learned consequences for their actions. So they continue acting like spoiled and bratty children as grown adults. And 9 times out of 10, drugs or alcohol abuse is involved when they go nuts because it simply amplifies their personality they have grown oh so accustomed to... but you shouldn't blame the drugs or alcohol for the person who has no self-control or ability to moderate. Anyone who is an adult that acts like these people, who put others in danger, especially children, need to permanently lose their rights to the substances that drove them over the edge. Either that or go back to their parents and tell them to do better, learn how to be responsible together.
