Thanks for this! Your videos on how small startups grew out is really really helpful for aspiring entrepreneurs like me :) I've been looking for startup success videos like this to learn about their journey so I can emulate how they start their business It would be nice if you could start off with more insights on what Drip did - it was a little confusing to start with Lending in the US when I didn't clearly know what Drip was doing.

Incredible insight Neil! Love love the flow of the conversation Garry. We're an early stage solving something similar in Africa with MVXchange.com. Difference is, we integrated trade finance in logistics (freight forwarding). Logistics gives us more insight and data on trade deals and acts as a risk management tool.

Why do you think the funding details (seed & rounds) aren't important to go over? The story is nice but the funding numbers are very important
@GarryTan4 жыл бұрын
Oh sorry, most people in tech usually just look things up on Crunchbase but you're right, I should add this more up front.
@NeoCodingGod4 жыл бұрын
@@GarryTan I am a tech guy :) of course I know Crunchbase + more I love "creative origin stories" but I want the "boring" tech/finance details Many times, founders do not share this "sensitive" bit of info The point is, today everything should be in "real time"/in the now I do not have time to go & look up stuff The moment I click away that's it & not going to look it up. As a consumer of your "hearty content", I get a little bit disappointed when I realize I have to look for the dessert somewhere else & not feeling 100% full I understand that this might mean more work but I believe it'll will be more rewarding You should have a blog/website to go with your channel to add these details + more

Trade Finance is perhaps the greatest treasure ignored by traditional Investment Managers. With Fintech incursion, it has transformed Trade Finance from a Banking product which is transactional to an investible asset class for Investors to earn a higher risk-adjusted return. Welldone Drip Capital.
